I had already said that I didnt want to lose Sterling and he will be good for City. I think RA also had same opinion. Not sure if he will be great (worth of 50m pounds) for them. He gets so much space and he is utilising it properly, credit to him. But for Liverpool, there was no option but to sell him, that just comes down to whether we could reinvest that 50m properly .

Anyways, I had said before even the season started, Arsenal will come close to challenging the title to either Chelsea or ManCity in this season. Chelsea are not quite out of it but they are having some meltdown there, losing games at home and Mourinho already started criticizing his players.
Arsenal just need to keep getting points till they find the right formation-position of the players. I mean you guys have Özil-sanchez starting and then you have players like Ox coming of the bench.

Think Spurs might fall off a bit this year. Early days but I'm not expecting a top 4 challenge in the slightest.

I love the amount of time the youngsters are getting though. I feel as if Spurs are always in the rebuilding phase and never in a strong phase...but i think perhaps this time it's different. I haven't been overwhelmingly happy with Poch, but satisfied enough. I think if Spurs persist with him for a couple years, continue to give the likes of Bentaleb, Pritchard, Delli Ali, Dier, and of course Eriksen, Kane, Chadli more time (Lamela has all the talent in the world but is a mixed bag at this point), then I think Spurs might have a bright future in a couple years.

Then again, I like being optimistic. Throw the season away, focus on youth I say Laughing

Read a really good article couple of weeks back about how Spurs are setting themselves up for a big future, if they deal with the youth+stadium mix as well as Arsenal have done in the not so distant past.

CBA to find it again though.

no, no at all ! After City, your team is the one who is capable of consistently getting those 3 points against small teams and that is what matters, apart from a enough points collection from top 4 rivals.

'The only *bleep up* might happen' i can see is Wenga rotating between Walcott and Giroud too much and harming confidence of both the players.

We lost against WHU at home, who lost to Bournemouth and Leicester before beating Liverpool, iirc.

Neither of us should be talking about consistency tbh Laughing

I can see many many other issues - Theo/Ollie is only one of them.

WHU is a BS result. I am saying the same thing LFC section also. If you manage to get same shit results in next 3 games also. I mean if you get anything other than 3 points against Leicester and Stoke, probably this is not the season where you will come anywhere near challenging the title. But I am sure, even if you perform bad in one of those two games get those 2-0 or 3-1 wins, you are on the right track in terms of progress through the season.

Chlesea game, we both how it is going to be.

Like I said, I'm still confident we can give a title charge. Just need to deep dig until we solve our scoring problems.

Mahrez to sink us.

Stoke is always where we lose 2-3 key players to broken limbs and what not.

Chelsea to make up for all the GD against us when we play them.

Expect 2 points from those 3 games. :coffee:

Then again, you guys had patience and Wenger. Spurs have a new manager every year and Poch right now Laughing

You guys were also consistently in the top 4 and successful prior to the stadium switch.

Madrid has done an amazing job in saving alot of millions and also a very good keeper (navas) leaving. They will still get their man in january or next summer for free. They will also succeed in making everyone believe that they tried their best to sign DDG.

WIN-WIN stratergy. Smile

Chelsea are in shambles. We are not much better off Laughing

Expect us to help them kickstart an unbeaten run, culminating in their league title in April.

City lost to Juventus, Manchester United lost to PSV.

Hopefully we won't make as hard work with our group.
