It would be a good signing. why not, a good back up for the injured costa though not a replacement as he isnt technical.

Actually, Destro's injury record is pretty bad.

Only played 20 games last season, and that is one of his better years.

Honestly Shed, I don't think Roma will stand in our way. Destro would (I am assuming here) jump at the chance to play in the EPL, for a big club like us. Roma wouldn't be able contend with us, wage wise and they could still have deadline day to bring a replacement in.

But I imagine we are already lining up Destro.

It's going to be interesting to see how we cope without the injured costa.
Gotta score goals and avoid losing points. If they wing it without costa and manage to win all points then odds are they can beat anyone with him.

cant afford to lose points. not even a single point against the biggest of competitor clubs. We win the league by march and shift our focus to CL. Let the reserve players play the rest of the season.

Costa will be fine for Everton He isn't injured.

Also, For Destro, there isn't many options, none as young and none as clinical in front of goal. He is the best option, imo.

Apparently Destro is not for sale so Remy is a fine second choice.

8m. Premiership proven. 14 goals in 26 last season in a bang average side under a clueless manager. Pretty good all around.


Only slight fear is that he'll go the way of Ba, to whom he has an unsettling number of similarities...

Couple of differences though, He has pace and played well in a worse team than Ba.

But then again, we didn't lose too much on Ba and he was generally well liked by fans. I am fine with him as back up.

I'd prefer Destro but that isn't happening.

The only other options are just as unlikely as Destro or not PL proven.

Another plus is it allows us to still pursue a better 2nd choice in the winter or next summer without a huge financial hit on this one.
