Monaco's owner had the most expensive divorce dint he when he lost half his net worth.I dont know if that has any relation to their sales but they also need to be wary of FFP after seeing PSG and City getting shafted.Plus with Radamel looking to leave,it adds to the other reasons.

And the loan deal would include obligatory redemption next yr anyway.A huge loan fee summin like 12m + 40m+ transfer fee next year.Basically spreading the payments.

At the beginning of the window he was rejecting everyone in hopes of Madrid entering the fray. However, for some reason, they never called.

In addition, as Mr Nick said, he's a player coming toward the back-end of his prime, and coming off a serious injury. Interested parties would want to wait and see precisely what they're paying for before shelling out that sort of cash.

Atletico Madrid attacker Radamel Falcao has voiced his admiration for Filippo Inzaghi, citing the former Italy international as a source of inspiration.

The 39-year-old ended his professional career this summer after an 11-year spell at AC Milan, and the Colombian has admitted that the ex-Juventus striker was an example to follow for him.

"Is it true that I asked Mario Yepes to ask Inzaghi to sign a Milan shirt for me? Absolutely," Falcao stated to Tuttosport.

"Inzaghi is a striker who I have always really admired because of his eye for goal. He has inspired me with his style of play."

Falcao has been linked with a move to a bigger club on more than one occasion in the past few months, but insists that he is not thinking about a transfer.

"The truth is that my wife and I are very happy with life in Madrid. I still have a four-year contract here. You can ask any questions regarding a transfer to the Atletico directors or to my agent."

He has a release clause of 75 mil.... that's the only way he would leave. So that takes Serie A out of the picture . Madrid could trigger it. He refused Liverpool who was willing to trigger it. If Arsenal wanted to pay 75 mil, he'd probably think about it.

Monaco only sold James because they got 90 million. They're like Porto... if you want to massively overpay or trigger the release clause, then yeah. Otherwise, gtfo .
