I mean just because Elvis was in a couple of movies doesn't mean we should seriously rate him as an actor. It would have been cool if he was any good but ultimately no one cares because he's a singer first and foremost.

It's makes no sense to me to ask a player to do something other than his best skill. I mean it's great if you can help out in other areas when needed but for me at least it doesn't make you any less of a player if you are elite in one thing.

Having said all that both Falcao and Costa are great CF's in their own way. Both have proved themselves to some degree.

I agree. Look at Cavani when alone at Napoli and his form when paired with Ibra or Suarez

Regardless of excuses for Falcao... To say after 5 weeks of football that Costa is now definitively better than Falcao is pretty much the dumbest thing I've read today.

Falcao needs some time to just get it all together since that injury. He'll do just fine.

Costa is a beast and this Chelsea system and Atl. Madrids system catered perfectly to his playing style.

Let's not forget Costa is an absolute scrub when put into Spain's squad.

Costa has barely trained at all in training but completes 90 odd minutes every single match

either Mourinho is lying(seems very unlikely for a man like him tbh) or there is something extremely dodgy going on with Costa's medication.

Actually RG, that's pretty typical if you have a sore knee or hamstring... you don't practice and you save yourself for games. You do other things to keep yourself in shape between games other than football training (stuff that has less impact on the injured area).

Kobe Bryant is the king of this in the NBA for example.

i dont know lvg criticizing him now will do any good to the overall scheme of things.

He blames him for not having match fitness and then he himself do not sanction to let him play in the reserves becuase rooney was injured and we needed back up. Its understable falcao getting frustrated by this. its not entirely his fault. He is trying his best to get back. But rooney getting that knock was bad luck.

But then after all that lvg criticizing him for showing discontent over not getting starts is a little bit... you know...

anyway lets see .. how this pans out. I dont have much hope now that he will (be willing to) stay beyond this season even if he gets back to form.

The dude has been coming off an ACL injury and hardly played this season due to being fit or injury.

He's clearly not fit, if he was he'd give him more minutes than he did. Van Gaal is a known pathological liar.

If he was actually healthy he'd play don't delude yourself.
