It's official now, he's joined on loan for a season with an option to buy.

Lol

When he comes off the bench in his first few games and scores everyone will be saying he should start over benzema

I think its a good signing.  He is backup. Why buy falcao or another expensive player as backup?

53 - Since joining the PL only Ameobi (57) has played more times as a substitute that Chicharito (53). (Opta)

I wish him the best. But he has swapped our bench for RM's. I don't respect him in that sense since he moaned about starting games..yadda yadda.

He is in awful form atm though. Has the touch of an amateur right now, like he seems to have lost basic footballing abilities, loss of confidence and can be extremely frustrating to watch as he offers nothing outside the box and can be pretty annonymous.

In saying that, the big plus for him is that he will be playing with better players than at United. Players that will create countless chances for him. He is a poacher who likes to play on the shoulder of defenders, so Modric, Kroos will be looking to ping them through balls...Bale whipping incrosses for him to feed on. He's gonna love it.

Once he scores that first goal, he'll restore confidence and in a happy, confident Chicha, you'll get a lethal clinical finisher.

All the best to the lad.

Prefer loaning Hernandez than buying Falcao for 60+

As if money was ever an issue for us. Idk why people are making it seem that way.

At the end of the day it didn't have to be Falcao. Should have been anyone with actual quality someone we know coming off the bench that could possible help make a difference.

But this here, you guys are making it seem like we did well since we didn't spend anything.

punch you keep acting like the team relies on the cf, we don't that why we sign someone like chicha instead cause falcao, negredo or whoever won't solve our main problems, why is that so hard to understand?

leadership, creativity and work rate, has been lost in midfield and the defense is showing its weaknesses, stop worrying about scoring goals ffs open your eyes Laughing

Now that he is here lets talk about how he could help us...

The guy is fast, is a poacher, has a high work rate and has a knack of being in the right place at the right time. That's the sort of personality the Bernabeu faithful like and since he is used to being a supersub he won't have difficulties scoring. Won't take long before the fans chant his name tbh. Don't know if he will be the same if he starts but if we are adamant on sending crosses in then he might actually be the better choice

He has gotten alot of stick (me included) because people feel he was unnecessary but I'd rather buy a hardworking guy like Chica who would leave everything on the field for us than James who thinks he is at the level of Ronaldo relieving himself from any defensive contribution

Just read through Chicas presser, the guy is so classy and it seems like he has come here to try and make the move permanent. He doesn't deserve the crap he has gotten honestly (shame on you hala). Wouldn't be surprised if he scored against the big teams in Spain. Hopefully he can improve his passing but it's not like the others have better passing ability lol, the average pass accuracy of our forwards is probably 70% I am pretty sure he has around that or better

Doesn't excuse making a signing like guy. He's average a lesser version than Huntelaar. Luckily it's only a loan

Defense shouldn't be an issue either. Ramos and Pepe having brainfarts while Varane is on the bench. Marcelo just sloppy as hell as LB. Carvajal has been slacking.

Plus it doesn't help that the midfield really doesn't help at all.

We need to get perez out of that chair fast cos Ronaldo is being cryptic with his opinion about the signings but we know what he is trying to say.
I see a conflict brewing between perez and ronaldo which could lead to ronaldo asking to leave

ok punch can i get a list of all above average cf's in their primes coming into the team knowing they will back up and be happy about it? either a veteran or some kid or some average player

you know damn well if falcao came he definitely would compete with benz, and the media would run its usual politics stories, if falcao or x striker isn't playing over benz, idk why you pretend to think otherwise or maybe you really and truly just wanted falcao come in and bench benz which would cause even more problems

end of the day james can't even clean di maria boots and kroos needs a lot of time before he can truly replace xabi, we lost 2 key players for midfield and again all most care about is strikers when scoring isn't our problem, just want a bigger name than benzema

anyway good luck to chicha you gonna need it

Only a veteran or youngin would be comfortable with that.
Anyone else signing on to Madrid especially an above average Cf won't have that mentality.

They will strive and perform to earn that starting spot especially if the person ahead of them begins to slack/decline. It's the way these things work.

We can't give up on quality because we don't want to hurt the feelings of guys who are making millions a year.

again this "cf must compete" line is nonsense, we are the only team to do that and no one benefited, who challenges ibra, falcao, lewa, costa, and higs (Laughing) every week? anytime aguero is fit he starts no question, same for suarez, so why is benzema the exception out of every top striker that needs to be pushed? it just doesn't make any sense we all know this, stop the BS

instead of going around in circles, just say you don't like benzema as number 1 no matter what simple, its clear as day any forward whether they fit or not, you all want them and start creating what if scenarios, that everybody knows is again BS

the team is not suppling benz enough with or without cr, bale isn't good enough to focal point, too much bad decision making, and that goes for everybody else(marcelo ), anyway benzema needs to step up and be more decisive at all the time

i wasn't a fan of this move, but its a loan move, lol its not like we're signing him on for 5 years....if it works fine, if it doesn't he'll move on. its good to at least have a back up, but there are still pressing problems carlo needs to resolve with the formation...it may also be a smart move for chicharito, if he does indeed come through, then other european clubs could see him as a potential signing after the loan, the only issue is he kind of puts himself in a box now, cos to move from one bench to another bench; teams (even midtable teams) probably view him as a supersub now, and may not want to risk him being their main guy....lets see how this pans out though

This signing disgusted me when I first heard about it but now that he is here I will support him.

If he works hard and tries to make use of his limited minutes (We all know that Carlo signed him to protect Benzema) then who knows. He sounds like a nice dude and he does have a natural goal scoring ability which is always useful.
