Yeh, stats don't matter. He's clearly made a difference in a lot of big games.

What can I say, ma boy DiMaria has changed people's perception of a successful CM Proud

Isco has been excellent this season. Last season's wingers against Bayern and Barca were supposed to keep it tight at the back by helping to double up on the opposition winger (it will likely be same this season)

Bale scored in both finals but was awful in both of them. Stats like that doesn't tell the full story.

i won't read the rest of your drivel filled post, yes?

After the match wasn't impressed. Regardless if he started, for 82 min he didn't do much that was memorable while Modric and Alonso were brilliant. Pls let me know if other wise, I'll rewatch the match and let me know at what moments to pay close attention to Isco :coffee:

nasir your clearly butthurt, tell me how memorable all action midfielder yaya(no workrate) was in the cl knockout stages.. oh wait

keep trying to spin it how you like isco was excellent as cm, in all the big games he has been in last season and now fact, this is coming from someone who crucified him Laughing, for doing nothing but glory hunting at the start of last season, same performances, most posters wanked too was his worst ones rofl

now he is solid defensively, positioning properly,WORKRATE!!! and distributing the ball well, while still displaying masterful technical abilities, he is not impressing you now of all times? how about learning about footy beyond goals, assists and pace smh

Chad, Read what I am saying, Last Year Isco didn't start for half the big games and has Madrid's 3rd best CM da fuq are you talking about? I am comparing Isco performances to that of Di Maria and Modric in the same games. He did not out perform either of those player in any of those game.

This year he has been excellent during Bale's absent and when he got off the bench. And I would easily take Isco for 40m+ right now. If it amuses you I am "butthurt" about not getting him Rolling Eyes .

nasir your missing the point that isco did his job @cm very well, which is to defend, retain possession and distribute the ball, di maria job was more of b2b and modric is in his prime, only thing isco needs to improve is his range and timing that it

isco plays cm in a 4-3-3 Laughing, when bale was out its was still james-benz-cr doing most attacking and isco stays closer to modric-kroos, the team defends as 4-4-2 and counter as such, when in possession and attacking its a 4-3-3

Such a great player. Most surprising thing about him is his tenacity and workrate. He's a much better defender than Iniesta ever was.

Still not overly impressed by his vision but he's fantastic to watch.

You have such a short memory, Iniesta during those dominant Spain truimphs and the Pep years was a fantastic defender.

Isco Proud He grown quite a bit from last season then again, he was always damn gifted. He just needed to add some work ethic with his defensive side of the game.

Quietly one of, if not the best, attacking midfielders this season in Europe.

Isco - Page 4 Empty Re: Isco

Post by Bankz Mon Nov 23, 2015 5:13 pm

It was harsh for Isco to be named a sub for the Clásico.
He wasn't expecting it. On Friday, he believed he would be playing and that the one left out would be James. But things turned out to the contrary and Isco in some respects feels betrayed by Benítez. He did not go to join
the Spain squad because of a few slight injuries, and with his thoughts on playing against Barcelona. He had some spectacular performances during training and his teammates noted that he was well in with the manager. James had been out for two months injured and was playing for Colombia, thousands of miles away.
However, once again Isco came up against the fact that he is not an automatic choice at Real Madrid, and he is starting to think that he never will be. He believes he was good enough to have started against Barcelona.
More than one of his colleagues in the Real Madrid dressing room say that he lost control against Neymar after the excessive warm-up he had done after being so long on the bench. He lost his nerve and collected a straight red card after kicking the Brazil star. So, Becoming the automatic first-choice still eludes him.
