Granada vs Real Madrid

Post by halamadrid2 on Sun Oct 26, 2014 4:50 pm

No time to slack. Granada have grown to become the new bogey team, we have just gained momentum by closing the gap between us and Barca. It will all be for vain if we lose points here. The week after this one is Atleti vs Barca where we can finally go top of the table but for now we have to beat what's infront of us.

No injuries recorded in the Clasico but Bale should be back for next week No

I would rest Kroos who has been playing alot so far and start Illarra instead. I would also rest James who looked really tired against both Liverpool and Barca, Varane and Nacho should also play. The rest should be the same, we can't make too many changes.

Iker
Arbeloa-Varane-Ramos-Nacho
Modric-Illarra-Isco
Bale-Benz-Ronaldo

Take any win and run home por favor

Our team should be super tired after the last two games. We should aim for win at any cost.

Isco put inhumane efforts these last few days, I don't even know how he was able to play the last 3 games. I think he needs the rest.

According to Carlo both Modric and Pepe are having a bit of a discomfort and will be evaluated before the game. Would be stupid to risk them just before the Liverpool game. I'd also like to see a Kroos-Illarra partnership, they looked good last time they played together

Carlo needs to be very careful this year to keep good rotations... you can't burn guys out. We have the club world cup over the winter too so the guys don't have as long a break over the new year to recover. Benz MUST sit this one out imo. If we drop points, so be it. It's November, not March.

1) We can win this game without Benzema (at least I would like to think so lol)

2) Under no scenario should be we be OK with dropping points. We have to win the league this year.

The next two games after the Granada games are either easy or not must win so if anyone needs rest they can be rested then. Granada are hard to beat away and we need to get at them with all our might

No Modric or Bale it looks like... so i understand Carlo playing him given that Modric shouldn't be risked and we need some fluid players to help play. BUT, both Benz and James should be managed a bit. They went pretty far in the WC too so the chance of something going sideways is pretty high this season.

Hope Carvajal is alright the moment he left Granada creating their first chance because Arbeloa is so crap

Btw we are playing fantastic, Isco and Marcelo have a very good understanding with eachother

I think the rule is, if the ball was stuck goal-ward, then it'll be gifted tot he striker, no matter how many times it bounces off the defenders, and that's exactly what happened in James' case.

The official website listed as a James goal, so I guess that's the official stance.
