couldn't catch the game, had to take the kids out....who was our best player and how did the prospects or youth players who might have featured perform?

Re: UD Cornella vs Real Madrid
We were really boring. To go fom one wing to another we were passing every single player standing horizontally next to the player. It made us very predictable
Our best player was again Isco, everything went through him. Got another standing ovation when he left the field unlucky not to score. I would have said Varane for the two goals but he didn't have a very good game defensively
Medran and Raul De Thomas came on in the last 15 mins for Isco and Benzema. At that point we were walking with the ball quite literally. For some weird reason Carlo put Medran on the wings so thst he could hsve the useless Khedira in the middle. RDT didn't have much of an impact either

Re: UD Cornella vs Real Madrid
Hard to create anything when you have Carvajal playing LB and Arbeloa at RB... why the frak would you play Carvajal out of position when Arbeloa can easily play LB too? Khedira and Illara were absolutely useless. Chich is a poacher. So you basically had Isco, James and Benz as the only attacking creative threats going against 10 men in PTB... and Benz obviously wasn't going full tilt.
Typical early round cup game. I'd prefer if we just didn't play any of the attacking regulars in the away fixtures of these... they just don't really care. At least they want to put on a show at the Bernabeu... play them at home if you have to.

I would've preferred on legged games rather than two legs. It takes away the chance of the minnows to actually progress against the bigger teams and we wouldn't have to watch our players play as if they were forced onto the pitch
Did anyone catch their number 4 ask Varane for his shirt before being subbed off ?

The minnows actually want two legs because they get more gate/tv money.

Anyone see the minnows start to cry when Marcelo did a somersault.
