CL Discussion 2014/15

Group stage is done, here's the teams we could draw on Monday;

Juventus
Shakthar
Arsenal
Schalke
Man City
Leverkusen
PSG

Who would you guys want?

I could care less really. As long as Figo is there, I'm not worried. Laughing

Got a feeling we'll be going to Germany again though.

I want an easy draw. We will have it tough from QF onwards.

I don't mind any of those. Juve might be a tough nut to crack but other than that we should be fine

definitely schalke for me, i don't want any surprises this early. or leverkusen.....funny how german sides used to be our bogey opponents not long ago

Schalke, all day long. An easy one would be good. But I would like Arsenal with hope that we can beat them, they are the only squad outside Spain that we haven't got a proper rematch and revenge.

Last season we got our revenge with quite a good teams such as Juve, BVB, and Bayern. This year we got revenge with Liverpool, so there are two teams left we need to win(and get one over my friends) Arsenal and Roma.

But I still hope for an easy draw.

@strugarock, u make a good point, we've gotten revenge on most of those teams that beat us back when we were playing like headless chickens....we also got revenge on pool this season, and lyon two or three years ago....arsenal, monaco and roma (maybe next year) left. I'd still rather schalke/leverkusen though

It taste sweeter when you beat teams that laughed at you a few years ago.

Saying that, I want Arsenal because it's a different opponents, haven't played their type in some time. I can wait till the next round though, seeing as we might be a bit busy with CWC and La Liga by the time the R16 kicks off.

Arsenal. Could be tricky, but we should win.
As we (hopefully) go through the competition, I feel like we'll do best if there is a gradual step up in quality. A bit like last year.

Excellent draw. Very happy with Schalke.
Think I'm more happy by the fact that some of the big guns are going to be knocking each other out.

Juve v Dortmund

Btw has the tournament path been decided yet? Who do we face after?

Schalke was the best draw we could've gotten especially considering the fact that the game will take place during the tough February period where we will potentially play Atleti 3 times in tge space of two weeks and barca twice. So I am very happy about this draw. Figo being there must have given off spores off good luck
