A friend of mine managed to see F4. I trust him a lot when it comes to films and he said it sucks...not to bother watching it. Sad, I knew it from the trailer but I hoped I would be proved wrong. General consensus is pretty much the same. It's badly edited, full of cliches, has a really stupid plot device, Doom sucks and ending is said to be very rushed.

And I disagree MCU making so called bad films. Worst they manage to do is create some below average meh films but none of them are nowhere near as bad as X Men 3 or Origins Wolverine.

below average is pretty much a bad movie. I think Iron man 2 is a bad movie by any means, Iron Man 3 I couldn't stand to watch, worst villain of any Marvel film, ever. The Incredible Hulk was boring all around and bad. Thor: The Dark World is just all over the place. Using that Jane Foster character is hurting me when watching, when Sif is a much better character in the film, and doesn't get nearly the same amount of screen time. I think those 4 are genuinely bad. Not terrible as the two first Fantastic Four, but they're at an Amazing Spider-Man 2 level imho.

Watching Fantastic Four 2 on the tv right now. The audio dubbing of the lines are absolutely horrible. Can't see how anything can be worse than this Laughing Will report tomorrow.

Well another F4 has failed miserably, they should just let it die for a while then maybe in 20 years time try again.

The rights revert to Marvel if a movie isn't made every so many years. Expect sequels or reboots to occur every 5 to 8 years from now until Fox finally decides to cut their losses.

Fox are too proud and don't have a great relationship with Disney. And both Fantastic 4 movies from last decade made a profit despite being horrible and made with little effort.

But each is making less and less profit, and given that this current version won't be showing in China, a massive market, it doesn't look to be a smash hit either. Eventually Fox will simply get tired of treading water with the property.

Rumor saying that Eli Snyder (son of Zack Snyder) will play Robin in a flashback scene in BvS with Jared Leto as Joker.

There is also a rumor that the dead Robin is actually Dick Grayson because of a leaked set photo.

Does this apply to other marvel franchise Fox owns?

Would be goat if Marvel got F4 back. Need a proper Silver Surfer & Galactus :banderas:

Weird if it's Dick. I guess they are using him because not many casuals are aware of Jason Todd.

@Vers

Asked the same question lol. Most of the Marvel characters Fox owns are tied together. So Surfer, Galactus etc are all part of Fantastic Four.

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Arnie rofl Proud

Anyways, FF is now at 12% at RT after 52 reviews. 4.9/10 on IMDB.

Now, I don't think those ratings are quite correct. Eventhough the film might be bad. People are going to rate it via the chain-affect rather than the film itself at this point.

Just came home.
The first 2 acts were great but the ending felt rushed, and it felt like the fans' rage made them alter an otherwise great film.

Overall 6-7/10 from me

6/10 is enjoyable. Pretty much average. I really think the first two acts were great. I don't have a connection to the source, so that makes me judge it from a somewhat neutral standpoint.
I really liked the horror feel they were going for. But it changed with 30 minutes left and it felt like a really weird cheesy superhero film again.
Seemed like they were afraid and then f'ed up the rest. Beginning to think Trank didn't direct the last act.

Freeza can't be trusted with any film Michael B Jordan is in. Imo you should subtract 3 points from his ratings to get an unbiased view. Also it doesn't help that Miles Teller is in as well, so dock another point for that.

So Freeza's rating is 2/10.
