Schwarzer has joined Leicester from Chelsea for free. Contract until June 2016. I don't know how he's done that, but rather impressive for any 42-year-old to get a new contract from a Premier League club.

Also probably means Cech isn't going anywhere.

FC Bayern has agreed a contract extension with Pierre-Emile Höjbjerg until 2018 and confirmed the loan to Augsburg until June 2015.

Loris Karius extended his contract with Mainz 05 until 2018. Very good decision IMO.

Nastasic is really a fraud. When he was starting for Fiorentina they were 17th, escaping relegation in the last match, and since he's been sold and replaced with the same Savic City gifted to Fiore to alleviate Nastasic's transfer fee Fiore got two consecutive fourth places and in his career at City Mancini benched him for Lescott and Pellegrini had to buy Demichelis and Mangala just to not play him.

Well I don't know how much of that was his fault but a lot of times I have seen him for City I have been pleasantly surprised.

Can't say the same about Mangala who's looked well below average.

1. Why would City loan a good player to a PL team who could effect their chances of winning the league.

2. The player himself doesn't want to stay in England.

now I don't remember if Mancini benched him for Lescottt ,
but anyway tbh Nastasic was one of reasons why Fiorentina didn't get relegate that year .
Him , Jovetic and Behrami were the best Fiorentina players , the only players to have played well that year . Fiorentina improved in following years because they signed Montella as manager and Borja Valero , Rossi etc Nastasic would be still their best defender.
