The Premier League Love and Affection Thread
Let's come together to express our gratitide, love and affection for the life savers of the PL.
Like doctors, nurses, firemen and the bar and coat-check personnel of night clubs, they sacrifice their holidays to provide us the chance to be leisurely entertained in between the years and on New Years day.
Now the Bundesliga is not completely useless, since Bayer does not only never win anything but manufacture fantastic anti hagover cure
Yet nothing soothes the spirits that are still a bit wobbly like lying on the couch watching hoofballs drifting in the wind.
Thanks you premier League.
I love you

Re: The Premier League Love and Affection Thread
ARt a poem would be divine
I 'll go first to give encouragement.
Forever bubbles blown.
The Fat man plays piano, this season
they won't burst,
Play it again Fatso,
until they reach the sky.
The crouching robot giant rises
through hard work to the stars.
Rule Britannia, from box to box,
A horseface for the empire where
the ball never sets.
Each cold and rainy night the fire stoked,
a new day broke, it's burning bright.
Each one of them with their cross to clear,
stepping out the tunnel,
marching in mud,
the devils and saints,
with nothing but fear to fear.
.
First but not least, prime beef and banter supremo,
done Dealio, Premier lantern shine the light.

Re: The Premier League Love and Affection Thread
I'm not a lyrical genius like Hans but I too have to appreciate this thread with an Ode To The Mule League.
New year, new luck, it's two thousand fifteen!
Arsenal unfazed in their losing routine.
RG swears and despairs but there is no need to:
"Bruh, don't you see? - Pool and Yanited: they're also dog poo."
City vs. Sunderland, that much is clear,
no Lampard, no party - no matter the year.
Newcastle against Burnely at home, 2 points dropped and no control.
"Best performance of all time", screams one overexcited Mole.
Tottenham vs. Chelsea, WTF am I watching?
Looks like Mourinho forgot to put on his cock ring.
Doesn't matter though because Hazard will score a 2nd half hattrick,
lol, just kidding, maybe he'll win a corner kick.

Re: The Premier League Love and Affection Thread
I strongly feel like this is the time to rekindle our flame of love and affection towards our dear Barklay's Premium League.
Amidst all the abuse, name-calling and Schadenfreude pouring out of jealous haters right now, just because of 2 unlucky CL defeats tonight, let's stop and listen deep into our hearts.
We love the Premier League.
Don't let your head sink PL.
Don't let some bad news get you down.
We want to reach out to you.
Don't you worry your pretty little head.
We want to hold your hand.
Don't be afraid of the future.
Don't fear to be snubbed by top players.
Never forget, once you wave around with those TV money bills, they'll all come crawling
Once again, feel encouraged and free to add your poems and expressions of affections to the EPL below.
No negativity allowed.

Re: The Premier League Love and Affection Thread
No man is an island, entire of itself.
England is an island though there's water right and left.
Every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main.
The PL though is big enough to live off its own fame.
If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less,
If the 4th spot's stripped away it really is UEFA's loss.
Who cares for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for whoever.

Eating, Eating, eating. Talk to relatives. More eating. Visit more relatives. More eating. Go out and get drunk with people you used to know. Deal with nieces and nephews hungover, along with some more eating.
At the brink of exhaustion, a lifeline is thrown.
Boxing day football.
I you Premier League
I know it's late, but I can't wait anymore.
I know that it's wrong, but I need to meet you.
I will steal away.

Re: The Premier League Love and Affection Thread
The only European league to be still a fought league
While you know who wins in the rest because there is a team definitely better than the rest or anyway you look match totally unbalanced.
Here even Leicester at top
God bless the Premier League.
The last bastion into this football drift.
This sport is becoming extremely boring .
It's dead.
I'm going to like the idea of an European Superleague
