Interesting. Would like to hear more thoughts especially from cat.

1- He won the treble
2- He is anti-cruyffist

Believe it or not, there's a lot of old-socis that dislike Cruyff (because of the feuds Cruyff and Nuñez had), and will always vote for the most anti-cruyff candidate.

Oh so that is what it is about. Sad but thanks anyway.

Now this is just plain wrong man. We've been selling our most promising talents lately, how could you know they wouldn't make it? The bastards just want a bigger paycheck and don't give a rats ass about La Masia and appoint clueless coaches. That's exactly what Fart admitted to have been doing, though he realized that and deleted the tweet right away.

Yes. For instance I remember how they gloated over the Thiago sale instead of expressing regret for losing a bright prospect. This bunch just doesn't care for Barca's traditional values.

There's a debate between the presidential candidates going on right now. You can read most of it (or all of it - i'm not sure) thanks to this account: https://twitter.com/ArvinKH

Bartomeu: "We are enjoying the best football in the history of Barca. The future is perfect. Luis Enrique, Arda, Aleix..."

Bartomeu: "there is no study proving that the sponsorship of Qatar has generated a bad image for Barça."

Bartomeu: "La Masia has not dismantled. Today Luis Enrique has announed to promote Munir and Sandro."

The man is talking about the future meanwhile allowing Enrique full control to sign only players above 25 years old Laughing

The only player not over that age was Mats, who Enrique is even blocking the progression of. Everyone else he signs is already basically, a veteran, or at least barely able to improve at that age.

I know it isnt true, because its Enrique, he cares about Barca. But if it was someone else, I would accuse them of only caring about their tenure as coach because they know it wont be that long..so only signings players he will use and once he is gone, the next regime has nothing to work with.

I know this isnt true, because Enrique would not do this but I dont want to here fair tales about the future while we sign veterans and loan out any La Masia player worth anything.

Trash. Low class dog. How is it possible he will win? I am yet to only read some quotes from the debate and from everything I have read, he came off sounding as stupid as I think he is.

Uf, Bartu really had a bad debate, but unfortunately Laporta wasn't stellar, although he had some good interventions and proposals.

However, Benedito ran the show and was the most comfortable around, although he agreed to Laporta's arguments several times. It's a pity they can't get an agreement, because together they would defeat Bartu surely.

Some key/funny moments:

(Talking about Qatar on the shirt I think)
Benedito: I agree with Laporta for the second time tonight.
Laporta: vote for me!

Bartu asking for the vote:
- I ask that nexsturday everygoes to vote

Talking about Ibra sale:
- Bartu: we lost 50 milion euros because you (Laporta) signed Ibra.
- Laporta: But you sold him for penauts, you lost that money.

Oh, another Bartu gem:

https://vine.co/v/erqO0q1BtbI

"I'm being prosecuted by a fiscal crime, comitted by Barça, and which I defended firmly"

So Barça itself, as a Club, with no human beings, comitted the crime... but don't worry because Bartu is ok with comitting crimes, he defends them!

I think Benedito was the one winning the debate, he actually made sense. Laporta and Bart were just barking at each other and I'm not entirely sure what's the case with Freixa. The perfect candidate would be a mix of Benedito and Laporta imo.

On a side note, I read on twitter that Benedito was going to reveal the name of a company today willing to pay 70M a year to be on the shirt.

Laporta: "we have talked to a number of companies interested in sponsoring the return of UNICEF at the front of the shirt."

Laporta: "Bartomeu represents Florentino's (Madrid's president) model, just about buying."

How can anyone who cares for Barca vote for Bart ???

I would much prefer what Laporta mentioned, UNICEF on the front of the short and another on the back.

Obviously this is alot better than Qatar though.
