I would much prefer what Laporta mentioned, UNICEF on the front of the short and another on the back.

Obviously this is alot better than Qatar though.

Don't know why Laporta has such a Unicef fetish. I've recently read an article about Unicef. A man who had saved 1.1 million Euros all his life passed away in 2013. In his testament he has written down that 2/3 of the money shall go to Unicef and 1/3 to his brother and his family. Unfortunately the brother died in 2007 but the testament was never changed. Because of this Unicef is taking legal action and trying to get the entire money instead of 2/3 so the family and children of the dead brother get nothing at all.

Another charity organization that has become too big of an institution and you don't have a clue what kind of shady figures are involved and what your money is going to end up for.

Laporta should back Benedito. He alone hasn't got enough to make it, doesn't seem well prepared and I don't think he has clear ideas as to how to push the club forward unlike Benedito. If they join forces, then Benedito can win it. He's got a shirt sponsor offer worth 20-30M more than the current one and Fartomeu said there are no other offers lmao. I'm glad this is going to be resolved soon.

Barça's debt has increased from 287 to 328M this season. So much for Barto's economical success that he boasts about Laughing

Dude is the biggest fraud I've ever seen. He's blatantly lying while grinning like an idiot as if that would cover the lies coming out of his mouth. This was the biggest farce I've ever seen and it was just his first appearance as "Barca president":

http://static6.therichestimages.com/cdn/864/558/90/cw/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/APTR_Neymar-Barcelona-Deal1.jpg

Grinning and pretending that Neymar truly cost 57 million Euros while the picture in his hand actually reveals it to be 86.2 million Euros. But hey, paying his father's "company" to "scout players" and other hidden bonuses doesn't count as "transfer fee", right? That went totally well infront of the tax office.

Of course the club doesn't have "economical success". How would it? All they've done in comparison to Laporta is sell out the shirt (for peanuts). Every idiot could have gained additional income from signing a sponsor.

Ahm. They could have signed Neymar like any other signing. If he cost € 90M he cost € 90M. Don't pretend he cost € 57M though while comitting tax fraud just so he appears cheaper.

Laporta has publicized the results of a poll of the socios during the interview paid for by his campaign, looks like it has hurt Bart (although I'm sure the questions were biased towards Laporta since he paid for it).

More the opposite... Benedito should back Laporta. He has no chance while Laporta can win... with Benedito out, they would surely win. They should strike a deal: Laporta president, Benedito VP and successor in 6 or 12 years.

The board didn't win the treble, players + coach did. Bartomeu wanted to renew Tata ffs.

Barto claims he has an alternative for Qatar. Apparently it's a Japanese electronic commerce and Internet company based in Tokyo, Japan called "Rakuten". Its e-commerce platform Rakuten Ichiba is the largest e-commerce site in Japan and among the world’s largest by sales.

Laporta also won some trophies when in charge, you know. And Barto didn't really assemble anything....heck you can argue he fired the guy that actually assembled the team lol

Also that internet thing seems more believable than that energy drink crap lol

I am no board sympathizer but I strongly disagree with this sort of statement.
Whether we like it or not,the current board deserves a lot of credit for the sporting success of the club.
If they rightfully get the lion's share of the blame for everything that goes wrong, then they should also get a proportionate amount of credit when things go right. And a lot of things have gone right on the sporting side during the Rosell/Barto reign. They have had an unprecedented amount of success in terms of trophies and deserve a lot of credit.

You say the credit must go to the players and the coach.Who hired Enrique in the first place? If most agree that Enrique deserves a lot of credit for our success, then by extension credit must also go Rosell who hired him. Most of their first team coaching decisions have been sensible. When Pep left,he recommended Tito and everyone said it was the right thing. After Tito stepped down, everyone recognized that a change was needed.Hindsight is a wonderful tool but when Tata was appointed, most everyone thought of it as a calculated gamble(and one that was needed).

Neymar has been an integral part of our treble run.Who got Neymar from right under the nose of Uncle Flo?Leave aside the ethics of the transfer for a moment. You claim that the board did nothing for the treble so right now I am only debating the sporting side of things.
Fact is Rosell got Neymar for us at the expense of Mehdrid and he has helped us win the treble.
Without Suarez,we dont win jack this season.Who got Suarez? It was certainly not Laporta.Again credit must go to the board for getting Suarez.
Rakitic scored a goal in the CL final.Who got Rakitic? The same board you claim deserves no credit for our success.

I think the board deserves tremendous credit for leaving the sporting side of things to the coach and giving him complete operational freedom.Unlike the idiot from across the pond, they have left the sporting decisions to the coach and it has paid rich dividends. They get the players the coach wants, dont interfere and in return expect results.Seems quite sensible to me.Compare that to the circus across the pond.
I think they have also done a tremendous job at not letting all the controversy( most of it their own doing I admit), affect the team. They have done a very good job at shielding the team from all of it.

Does the board have its faults?Yes,it has a lot of faults. From a purely ethical standpoint, I want them gone. They have besmirched the name of our glorious club.
But from a purely sporting perspective, they have done spectacularly well.It is grossly incorrect to say that we have won in spite of them. They deserve a lot of credit for the success we have enjoyed.

Assuming the new president decides on continuing with shirt sponsorship,I dont see any reason why we wont have Fortune 500 companies lining up to put their name on our shirt. After the treble win,we are arguably the number one sporting brand in the world. We have the current face of football and the future face of football on our roster. We should be able to easily get a better deal than United.
