Giovinco is too good for the MLS.

Who was the Red Bulls midfielder that just fell over and let him through near the beginning of his run?

Maybe it is down to the level of defensive players in the MLS, but that was a great Maradona-like slalom through a bunch of defenders for an excellent goal.

Orrin Schwarz ‏@Orrin_Schwarz 37 minutes ago

#cf97 roster now at 13: Johnson, Doody, Gehrig, Jones, Accam, Bryce, Fernandez, Nyarko, Polster, Shipp, Stephens, Gilberto, Igboananike

So Chicago are letting go of Larentowicz, Magee, and 2/3rds of their entire squad. This can only end well.

Depends on who they get as coach I suppose.

Who you got in the final? I'm loathe to do it, but I'm pulling for the Crew. Cup needs to come back to the Midwest.

Chicago have already confirmed their new head coach/manager, it's the previous Serbia U-20 coach Veljko Paunović.

Can someone give me some info on Matt Miazga? Seems like we're signing him.

All the information you need: He's a young promising CB from a non-giant footballing nation (USA & also holds a Polish passport), so he'll sign for Chelsea then spend 4 years on loan to god knows where before moving on.

Sounds like a good move then hmm

Is he good enough for the PL presently? or what is his current level?

Given some of the defending we've seen this season, you could make the case that he'd get some minutes with the bottom sides. He's nowhere near Chelsea's level currently though.

Not at all sure what to make of that move. Will be interested to see how it turns out.

The Ashley Cole to LA move feels like it should've happened after he left Chelsea. As straight forward a cash grab as one can get. Doesn't sit well with me and I don't think it will sit well with those who don't see MLS as a retirement home for fading European stars.

The league just announced that it's Arsenal who the All-Stars will be facing this summer at Avaya Stadium.

Good stuff, about time the Gooners try their luck.

I've been wanting us to play the All Stars for a while, so I'm really looking forward to this.

With the Euros and Copa America going on though it'll be touch and go with some of our players
