Re: 2015 MLS Thread
Good game honestly, though it was scrappy at times. Both teams have enough ability to cause issues for future opponents.
Mix was poor for most of that game, but still got a good goal out of that shift. Does that alot, but that's the mark of a player who's becoming clutch.

was a great game. Total luck in the end but awesome to see kaka be the hero. Both those teams will get thrashed by Seattle, LA, NE, DC etc
Also love these inverse arsenal red bull kits

TFC down a man and two goals
No shame honeslty. The crew have put together a deadly team pretty quietly. They are easy an MLS cup contender. Will be hard for anyone to get a result against them down a man
Also we need moto back. His Orlando influence is needed

Re: 2015 MLS Thread
Yeah, they do.. Now
Better times are ahead though. One reason they sucked is because they had no income. They were losing a lot of money because they had to rent stadiums to play in. They were losing almost as much money as the red bulls I think
However, construction of a new stadium is almost done. And it's beautiful, with the largest outdoor bar in the country as well..They'll turn profit by the end of the season.. The ticket sales, stadium naming rights and other things will go a long way. Great times are ahead for the quakes, they'll have much more money to spend and be a much more attractive place for DPs to sign very soon

"At least it wasn't a draw."
Seriously though, they said they wanted fewer draws, and management didn't really specify how they'd remedy that. I guess playing an inexperienced rookie defender at CDM (alone with a midfield of all other attacking players) and an experienced CDM in defense (where he's half the player he is in midfield) is their answer....

Seattle earned their "flounders" moniker yesterday surely. Didn't look good at all. What happened to Brad Evans?

This nyc vs revs game
Wtf. We should be winning by like 12 to 2.. But we're losing 1-0. This is insane

Re: 2015 MLS Thread
Matchday 2's results:
Houston Dynamo 0-1 Orlando City
Chicago Fire 0-1 Vancouver Whitecaps
Columbus Crew 2-0 Toronto FC
FC Dallas 3-1 Sporting KC
Real Salt Lake 3-3 Philadelphia Union
Seattle Sounders 2-3 San Jose Quakes
New York City 2-0 New England Revolution
Portland Timbers 2-2 LA Galaxy
Goal-filled week again. David Villa and Blas Perez for me had the best performances up front, NE's Bobby Shuttleworth did well despite facing Villa several times. Brad Evans had a horror show in his new CB position. My favorite match was probably the Quakes win over the Sounders....great upset, that one was.

Needa start watching more FCD games, the stadium is literally a 10 min drive away. Looks like the MLS is really exciting this year, people are actually talking about it, even those who don't know much footy

Re: 2015 MLS Thread
Season so far.
The revs and fire suck. Shaun MaLOLney and Juan AgudeLOL have been useless
The red bulls actually look ok, goal and assist for BWP
THE QUAKES NEW STADIUM HAS THE LARGEST OUTDOOR BAR IN NORTH AMERICA
Orlando is turning into the American Millwall
Villa is class, Lampard MIA, the baseball stadium is ok
The Columbus village people are gone but not forgotten
Colorado are the new Chivas
The regular TV Sunday timeslots have been amazing
And I still hate Seattle

Re: 2015 MLS Thread
Matchday 3 results:
New England 0-0 Montreal
Colorado 0-0 New York City
Philadelphia 0-2 Dallas
Orlando 0-1 Vancouver
Kansas City 0-0 Portland
Los Angeles 1-1 Houston
New York Red Bulls 2-0 DC United
San Jose 2-1 Chicago
---------------
Well you know your MLS matchday is pretty weak when Chicago's part of the highest scoring match (sum total of 3 goals)
Rough matchday for the league, but these were also some tough match ups as well for the better sides. Gritty, scrappy play won out. Next weekend's fixtures should be much tastier.
Beyond that, I pretty much agree with Vendetta's summation.
