Celta Vigo vs Real Madrid

Our Defense needs to man up...Marcelo,Carvajal,Ramos every one awful with their positioning so far.

If we are smart we buy Chicharitto.....perfect substitute player.

After that Atleti performance this was shocking.
We really should've lost or drawn this. Ref make a few dubious calls today in our favour.
A win is a win I guess. James MOTM for me.

That was disturbing stuff from our defence. Not a single one played well. Carlo had to subb in two extra defenfer like a catenaccio coach because we couldn't keep it together. I am glad thats finally over. Sevilla next week and Valencia the week after are our two last "finals" we are going to need to defend alot better than this if we are to come out with wins against those two

Was Illarra good?

On a scale of 1 to 10 how awful was Carvajal?

His worst game ever imo.

Nope but no one was so to single him out would be totally unfair.

TBH, way too many were poor, especially Isco.

Kroos beat that first goal right in the ass. Illarra offered nothing going forward adding to him getting rekt in defense.

nonsense illarra played lots of mid-ranged passes forward, that initiated some good attacking moves,  but i keep forgetting that only a pass being blasted, from one side of the pitch to the other are the only passes that count

or some flashy turn or dribble, that why a awful isco can be good to you guys, like he was this match (point proven), kroos was awful too goal or not

i swear you guys can't rate a player performances to save your lives, just look for the least popular player atm and give them the worst ratings, seen it a million times, again isco played bad for 3 months straight and almost all of you was giving him motm game after game, for flukey shot and skills, can't blame me for seeing a different game without hype glasses

I think our whole team were poor defensively. There is no point singling anyone out although Carvajal did look a little like Marcelo on his worst day but he gives this kind of performance once in a blue moon so I am not too worried.

I expected us to struggle, Celta are excellent. Lets not pretend we were playing Deportivo Lacoruna out there. Celta did this to Barca too even with 10 men so chill the f out. Typical LaLiga defending by us

We are playing Cordoba midweek before Sevilla so Carvajal and Ramos will not be missing the Sevilla game

I swear I remember Isco winning February player of the month. 3 months

@hala im talking about isco first season, and he was even worse than illarra at cm this season, lost all the big games and carlo panicked buy silva, who again most of the forum said he was twice the player illarra is and i was the only poster who said, he didn't seem much better if at all and now illarra is being played a head of him,see what i mean?

i don't care who it is, i support any player on the team if they are actually trying to do their jobs, and i dont care about the hype, again illarra was ok fact

Illarra was horrible; there's no question about it. You seem to be the only guy in here, and apparently in the whole world, to believe Illarra did "ok" against Vigo.

The fact that Carlo played three CBs in the second half just to make up for the non-existent midfield should clue you in.

It's not even a debate. Everybody is convinced that Illarra isn't good enough. You seem to be the only guy believing otherwise. And that's fine. Whatever floats your boat.

I still have faith in Illarra. He was poor, but I still think he is good enough to succeed here.
