Having not watched Liverpool on a regular basis last season I can't comment on how he is now but the issue most fans had with Mario at Milan at least was that in one game he was the perfect team player who does everything you want a centre forward to do and the next he's whining to the ref half the game. I still like Balotelli and I hope he gets a move to a team like Sampdoria, or if he stays at Liverpool a fair chance to earn a spot. I don't think his level of play has dropped but he needs to show that he's willing to work hard every week not just when he feels like it. That's all he really needs to do in order to return to the national team, which probably is his biggest motivation after being rather unfairly scapegoated.

He's not lazy, he's just not a headless chicken. I really hope he gets another chance at Liverpool, but with Rodgers at the helm, I don't think it's going to happen.
