Yeah get the staff sorted, We are doing well with the net transfer fees as usual, We have like 4-5 departures still to go. Come on!
Coates, Borini, Balotelli, Lambert, Enrique and Sterling. Sell minimum 5 of these, while acquiring a RB and ST, CM/CAM depending on availability of class.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015 - Pt.2
If our summer ends up adding Milner, Ings, Clyne, Kovacic and Bacca to what we already have that would look pretty nice, IMO.
Then on top of it if Sterling is sold (and rumours are City are willing to meet the 50m that Liverpool want) then they'll probably bring in someone to replace him (Firmino and Konoplyanka rumoured).
Big summer for us regardless, but the above could see us actually have a squad that could look good enough on paper at least to challenge for top 4. Something I didn't really think we had last season or two.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015 - Pt.2
Milner, Ings, Clyne, Kovacic and Bacca would have been a satisfactory window if we didn't have the Sterling Fund. Mind it, it still represented a very low (probably zero net spends) spends. Since our management knew Sterling would be sold, they should have been more ambition than Clyne and Bacca/Konoplyanka.El Cujo wrote:If our summer ends up adding Milner, Ings, Clyne, Kovacic and Bacca to what we already have that would look pretty nice, IMO.

However, it's still unclear if Kovacic, Bacca or Konoplyanka/Firmino will be signed. I will wait till all the signings are done and how team performs before judging our transfers.

You know exactly what I'm talking about fool.
You tried to play the "Rodgers signings on the regular have been quality signings, it's not his fault this committee are stepping in his way and making his record look bad" card. Not exactly working, is it? I mean. The committee's pretty much split up. This is all Rodgers doing now. The method/targets haven't exactly changed, has it?

Coates & Aspas are gone. I would have loved a little more rumors about others (Borini, Balotelli, Lambert, Enrique, Alberto). Also, what's the future for Tex???

Tex is probably not going to make the grade here.
I wouldn't mind keeping Borini and sending out Balo, Lambert and Alberto (but Alberto was called back from loan to Liverpool so maybe he stays?) Enrique probably isn't worth much at this point but I'd still rather keep him on as a serviceable back-up. Especially with questions around Flangan's health and Moreno's defensive lapses. If nothing else Enrique is a bulldog and a lot more solid at the back than Moreno which may come in handy...actually not sure why he didn't get more playing time this season.

They will probably announce that on July 1. But Echo, Sky, BBC all reported it.Nishy wrote:There is no official confirmation Coates leaving Ifty
Agree about Enrique. Borini is possibly the worst among the present trio. Alberto should be shipped-off at whatever price.Cujo wrote:Tex is probably not going to make the grade here.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015 - Pt.2
I also agree about Enrique. Should have gotten way more games in the closing stages of the season. I'm a little unease with the idea of Moreno being our only viable left-back option in the manager's eyes. Johnson used to cover there a bit, but he's gone, Flanagan did it, too, but he's out until 2016. I'm hopeful Moreno will improve in his second season, but I really wasn't pleased with the way he just kept getting games last season even when putting in poor performances on a regular basis.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015 - Pt.2
I thought Borini brought a lot of energy to each game he played, and even thought he only provided two goals I thought his all-around game was much better than Balotelli or Lambert (and I felt he was unlucky on a few chances to add goals). He's also more versatile and young enough to still learn -- on top of really wanting to play for Liverpool. I would give him another season over those two. Ings, Borini, Origi and whoever we buy to be our main striker plus Sturridge if he gets healthy again would be decent striker depth, and both Borini and Origi can provide added depth out wide as well.

One thing I agree with Cujo in is if we get Bacca, Firmino, and Kovacic this transfer window will actually look really good. Even Milner would look like a good signing as part of the bulk. However, as it currently stands, it's been very shit.

Honestly no idea. Maybe 3-4-3. Maybe his favorite 4-3-3. Maybe even 4-2-3-1. Who knows.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015 - Pt.2
To play our best players I would think a 4-2-3-1, but then again supposedly Can has been promised the Gerrard role, which would say to me a 4-3-3. If the Firmino interest is legitimate maybe they're looking to play him at striker the way Brazil do?
Kind of hard to say.
Maybe...
Or if Firmino is playing striker then
Clyne - Skrtel - Sakho - Moreno
Can
Henderson - ???**
Lallana - Firmino - Coutinho
**Milner? Kovacic?

I guess Firmino is the Sterling replacement. Him, Bacca and Kovacic along with those already signed will be a good window.El Cujo wrote:Sky Sports News HQVerified account
