They added a load of managers today as part of the CL special agents thing.

Simeone, Luis Enrique, Allegri, Zidane, Wenger, Ranieri, Schmidt and Tuchel.

Ranging from 440 and 690 my club points, i went for Tuchel and he has 525 management skills with my team on like 250 i'll be good for a while.

Also you can get these boosts called management skills boosts which had 10 to the management skill total each one you use. Doesn't seem like it's going to be as difficult to maintain teams and get decent managers this year without paying real money imo.

Specially with the challenges you complete which give you 50 points at a time and most of them are really simple, as long as the servers hold up i think i'll be playing a lot of MyClub this year.

Although my luck with getting players continues to be shit.... as part of the CL special agents you get one agent that gives you a player of at least 80 rating but who do i get? 80 rated Akinfeev

Didn't even realise the meter thing next to your players name at the bottom of the screen was some sort of ultra defensive to ultra offensive thing. I moved it all the way to the top and one of your CB joins and stays in the attack.

Worked out well too as Lascelles scored the winner.

Speaking of different teams styles, i think i have finally figured out how to make Arsenal a balanced team

4231 with MF/Attack Xhaka El Neny Chamberlain Ozil Sanchez Perez seems to work, i don't dominate or anything but it doesn't feel as woefully imbalanced as it did before.

I think i changed the tactics too but i don't remember the specifics, think the key really is just to try and not force Cazorla and Ramsey in the team just because and have the right side have someone who can dribble.

Although i haven't tried using alternatives to that line up to see how it impacts things, before though i had Ramsey on the wing Cazorla as a CM and Giroud up front and it didn't work at all.

Specifically Giroud doesn't fit at all unless you want to play completely different designed for him and IMO that's pointless.

Ugh, just looking at all those custom liscenses makes me jello. Definitely getting a PS4 for 2018, surely.

Just won the Europa League with Monaco. Surely lost like 15-20 times in row against Lazio at Superstar difficulty but as soon as I beat Lazio the game started feeling easier. Exploiting weakness with Lacina Toure is my hobby now. XD

I think I'm ready to go Online & Master League at Superstar offline.

I'm having a horrible time of it in the CL. Got a group of City, Roma and some weirdly named PEU league team. Beat them easily, but lost to City 2-0 away, drew 0-0 away to Roma then lost them to 2-0 at home.

Those Roma games were super annoying because I was playing a narrow front free of Ziyech, Dybala and Vietto but every time I tried a pass into a feet their midfield just swarmed all over them. Then just hit balls over the top for Salah and El Sharaawy and I was *bleep*

Not sure what to do with Dybala tbh. Want to play him SS but I like having three midfielders. The diamond works okay in most games but against the big teams the midfield just gets too congested.

I think Giroud has the Target Man play style. One of my strikers (Carlos Fernandez) has it too and he tends to drop deeper and show for the ball more than, say, Ben Yedder does. And I know that the LMF and RMF in a 4-2-3-1 tend to come narrow and towards the ball on this game too, and not in behind as much. Could be why Arsenal's default feels so weird to play as.

I think that depends on the tactics and advanced instructions because i have seen it both ways in terms of being narrow/coming towards the ball and keeping the width and keeping distance towards the ball.

Although with Sanchez and Chamberlain i want the former anyway tbh.

Okay things have officially gotten ridiculous on the transfer front.

I got 20m for Tiote and Colback and signed Sane and Bernado Silva for a combined 19m

Needed to beat City on the final matchday to qualify for the CL knockouts.

Beat them 6-0

Think I've finally found the right set-up. 4-2-2-2, Kranevitter/N'Zonzi pivot, Ziyech LMF, Toledo RMF (think he's a regen winger, 81 ovr, over 90 pace and acceleration), Dybala SS and Vietto CF. Scoring goals for fun now.



Atleti have won 14 games out 15 though ffs and drew the other one.

I'm smashing teams now as well.

Mainly because i was able to buy Dembele ( Dortmund), Sane and Bernado Silva lol.

When i get promoted because despite the fact i started the first 10 games with 5 losses, 4 draws and 1 win i'm now 7 points clear.

I plan to buy a striker, left back and DM, already got a list of targets for DM and left back will probably look at a CB as well as i don't trust Hanley and Clark against PL teams tbh.

Currently at 6th place in Ligue 1 (Monaco) and 2nd in the Europa League. Bilbao just owned me 2-0 at the EL debut and freaking Elderson *bleep* me over against PSG in Ligue 1. Game was drawn when Elderson decides to forget about the ball in my own box when he dribbles out. Ibra says thank you and passes it to an open Cavani and 2-1.

I still haven't tried Superstar yet. I'm kind of too good for Professional but not good enough on Top Player to beat teams comfortably yet, and it is fun. I remember playing on Superstar level a few years back and I had a feeling the game cheated against you i.e. it wasn't just the AI playing smarter but the CPU players were all on steroids and got very lucky all the time too.
