There is no reason why Inter shouldn't finish in the top 3, they are the number 1 contendor for the ~~NXT title~~ top 3 spot. They were unlucky last year after a strong first half, things got sour after the winter break, despite that, still finished 4th.

I get the feeling that Mancini will get fired by december, but even they might make it if they have a good rebound with whoever comes.

I'm not sure, I see it as a big problem right now.

You have a coach that doesn't believe in the team and a team that doesn't believe in the coach. They've made some good signings in Candreva and Banega and they really do have some quality in the team but the Mancini factor is too much.

I'm thinking something like Roma last year.

0 belief and spirit between Garcia and the team but managed to hold around due to the talent in the squad. Then Spalletti came with a huge positive effect.

I can see something like that happening with Inter this time.

That's a good comparison, I just hate to see these Italian clubs suffer from mismanagement season after season.

Don't get me wrong, as a Juventus fan I hope we win the scudetto 100 times in a row, but watching these clubs beat themselves is less satisfying Laughing

It just drops Serie A lower and lower each season

After watching Milan twice in preseason, and Inter once, I can confidently say that I rate Milan's coach and I think they will play a good season, despite having a poor team on paper.

Certainly finish above Inter unless Inter fire Mancini.

I like Montella a lot but if he finish in the top 4 is gonna be a pretty huge achievement. Their squad is clearly worse than the current top 4 and they weren't able to strengthen besides Lapadula and Suso.

I think Roma, Juve and Inter got top 3 on lock, Napoli will have taken a hit with Higgy leaving and now Koulibaly looking likely to leave. Fio and Milan out of the picture, even if Mancini botched it, he'll still finish in CL spots imo
