Technically he looks really good. Good feet and quite skillful. Decent passer too.

A loan beckons for him I think.

Do you see him as a wide midfielder with his present skillset?

I thought he likes to pass more rather than try and beat his man at least for now.And needs to improve his composure too.Could have had a hat trick himself had be a li'l composed in front of goal.A loan deal will do him mighty good.(Ipswich?)

And assuming that whatever the eavesdropper said was true,it does mean the end of the road for Toral, right?

Just an year left in his contract and if he's gonna be loaned it means we won't see him play for Arsenal.

Also,AW is mighty interested in Dan C,if he wants to loan him.Trying to fast track him into the first team like Jack I guess.

Seems like the other Jay has also been impressed with Iwobi.

Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta is reportedly carrying a calf strain that is keeping him out of pre-season action.

The Spaniard travelled to Singapore with his teammates this week, but he played no part in the Gunners' 4-0 victory in the Barclays Asia Trophy on Wednesday.

According to The Times, Arteta's latest setback is not related to the injury that kept him out of action for eight months.

WRT Toral:

I think we will follow our recent approach with a few others in extending his contract and then sending him out. Then we could still have a decent inflow later.

Don't think he was a part of the 27 man squad. My guess is, the 17 year old has still some time to go in the youth set up before we have a chance to look at him in the senior team(s).

Bielik is injured, I think. He's not appeared in training yet, and didn't play in the recent Arsenal XI friendly.

I'm not sure Arteta is injured. If I'm interpreting Arsenal's round up of yesterday correctly, he trained with everyone else.

Realized that since we last won the Emirates Cup.we've won 3 trophies.High time we bring our trophy back home.

Out of the 22 players of our last victorious Emirates Cup campaign only 5 are still at Arsenal.

Probably just you.

Very good performance from the "A" group. No DeeEm but eff it, it's only a friendly. Very crisp passing, made plenty of chances, defended well enough. Dropped off towards the end but that's no surprise with a lot of these guys playing their first games.

I enjoyed Walcott's performance from the left. Got into some great positions.

Bellerin, Debuchy, Flamini, Arteta, Wilshere, Chamberlain, Walcott and Giroud yet to play a full 90. Sure that'll change during the Emirates Cup.
