Work permit situation worries me.

Well, from what I understand, he needs to have played in 75% of Egypt's competitive games in the past two years and Egypt needs to have been at least 70th in the FIFA world rankings over the past two years.

Elneny's got 39 caps at the age of 23 and Egypt's lowest ranking in the past 20 years was 60th.

Not sure what else has to be taken into account but that looks alright.

I wasn't sure where Egypt were in the World Rankings, or if the new rule changes have come into effect yet. Though I suppose Arsenal wouldn't go after a 23 year old if they weren't sure they could get a permit for him.

Hopefully this gets done quickly then.

Almost all our players look very tired, Wenger better bring this player to actually play him. We need at least 2 more players to push us forward. We got the money go and spend some of it. Losing Santi and Coq for so long will be a huge miss. God knows When Jack and Welbeck be back.

Sign another Winger and send Oxlade on a loan.

Happy about this signing. Not a pure DM but neither is Coq so he should be able to fit into the team perfectly

Would say because of the injuries we should look for some short term loan deals for a striker or a winger but that's not gonna happen

Mohamed Elneny set to join Arsenal in £7.4m move. Medical in Paris on Tuesday, 4 and a half year contract to be signed on Wednesday as he waits for visa to be granted.

Elneny likely only January signing. Arsenal looking at summer deals. Considering signing former Gunner Havard Nordtveit on a free and/or his teammate Granit Xhaka.[Mail]

Also said he can't rule out Debuchy leaving (has been fit but left out last two squads) and that he'll be "very busy" during January.
