X2 was the best by far. X Men 3 for was terrible all around. Struggling to see any positive about that film. Maybe Magneto breaking the breaking and floating the Golden Gate Bridge...

I remember it being fun to watch, not everything has to be professional movie critic analysis 101 lol.

I'm not professionally analyzing anything. I did not enjoy the movie at all. The story was all over the place, it was hard to follow because things were happening so fast. Wolverine who was so badass in the first two movies was full emo the entire film. I felt nothing when Cyclops died. There did not feel tension, suspense or just simple enjoyment from simple stuff like fight scenes. Professor X's death was lame. The ending had some good action scenes but the climax was really meh. The movie was just bad and hardly enjoyable.

X2 meanwhile was entertaining from the start with Nightcrawler's amazing intro to the climax at Alkali Lake with Jean's sacrifice. Was the best of the series overall.

X2 was the best of the 3 for me. Only last year I rewatched that first trilogy so it's still fresh in my head.

First Class and DOFP are both hands down the best of the franchise though.

THIS.

I saw the first two long time ago now, but Last Stand I actually watched for the first time this year, so that was after also watching First Class and DOFP, and of course it doesn't stand up to those 4, but it is a reasonably good and enjoyable addition to the franchise imo.

How can you not understand Last Stand it is one of the most simple movies you will get Laughing Like I said writing wasn't top notch as some things weren't tied up to the eventual story (like Scott's death wtf???) and I agree Wolverine was all emo with Professor X's death and Jean being controlled by Magneto, but most of it did make sense. Plus the thrid act was fun entertaining action.

Don't understood the extreme hate it gets sometimes from some people, I mean

this shows that it is considered an average to decent movie by most people, which it is imo.

A sequel can't and shouldn't be judged in a vacuum. The logic of ALL characters were way off in The Last Stand. Wolverine's entire personality was changed. Cyclops got an unworthy and stupid death scene. The Phoenix character build up -.-
Magneto hiding in a forest without metal didn't make any sense. Also Magneto treating Mystique like shit made no sense whatsoever and didn't fit with his actions.

Also... I'm the Juggernaut, bitch. That line... Smh

I liked X3 aswell back then when I was a padawan. If I watched it now I would obviously dislike it for it's cringe lines, acting, story etc.

Lol what's wrong with the majority of people not enjoying the movie? The movie was not enjoyable until some of the fight scenes at the end where Wolverine and Beast team up. Forget the dialogue and other stuff, the story was bad too. The fight scenes were lacking. There was nothing for me to enjoy.

The story was absolutely shocking in X3. They basically ruined every x-men character and turned them into something they were not just to hype the final act. That Wolverine-Jean scene still has me in stitches rofl rofl

Wolverine killing Dark Phoenix rofl

It became a parody story of good vs evil with nothing making sense because they decided to put in 3-4 different events in one film because they were told there won't be any more in the series. Basically what happened to SM3 happened to X-3

Wonder Woman has started principal photography.

The cast seems really great, there's not a lot of huge names, but the faces are familiar, and great actors.

Robin Wright is probably the most famous name after Chris Pine. I'd guess she's playing Queen Hippolyta.

Danny Huston also cast, I'd guess him to be Ares if I had to.

So some 7 months later Laughing I just watched Age of Ultron and it was nothing much but very enjoyable. The good thing about having so many class actors in one movie is that you know your attention will never be diverted from the screen.

Enjoyed it more than the first one, but that's because somehow unlike most people I just wasn't much of a fan of it.

Now onto Ant-Man Cool

Alona Tal & Abbey Lee Being Eyed for Black Canary?

Plans for the DC Cinematic Universe at Warner Bros are heating up as the studio turns its attention to new projects and characters to add after "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" kicks off the next five years of interconnected superhero films.

After releasing the first still and cast for Wonder Woman this week, it looks like Warners is ready to expand their roster of female heroes beyond Gal Godot's Diana. It looks like the way they plan to do that is to bring the Black Canary to the screen and use the character as a launching point for a female-centric team-up movie later on.

The Black Canary is a secret identity taken on by two people, according to post-Crisis continuity Dinah Drake and her daughter Dinah Laurel Lance. The latter has the super powered "Canary Cry," a sonic attack and both were really good at hand to hand combat.

Right now, Black Canary is being eyed to make her debut in "Justice League Part 1" or "Justice League Part 2," both to be directed by Zack Snyder for release in 2017 and 2019, respectively. That means casting is heating up for the role.

The character is blonde in the comic books, so it fits that the current frontrunners for the role are blondes Abbey Lee (Mad Max: Fury Road) and Alona Tal (Burn Notice, Supernatural)

Since Warner Bros likes movies with teams of super heroes, the Black Canary plans don't end with her appearance in Justice League. If the character and actress perform to expectation, Black Canary will also be involved with an in-development Birds of Prey movie.

The Birds of Prey are a female DC superhero team that originated with Black Canary and Barbra Gordon, the part that Jena Malone is probably playing in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Just about a 4/5 as well
Reminded me a lot of Spider-Man for some reason. Maybe the humour and the plot.

Despite Fox's initial insistence that the Fantastic Four sequel was moving forward despite the box office failure of the first film, Fox has now officially removed the Fantastic Four sequel from their release schedule.

Fantastic Four 2 was originally scheduled for a June 9, 2017 release date, even before the first film hit theaters. With virtually all superhero movies performing well at the box office recently, Fox probably felt confident at the time that Fantastic Four would follow suit. However, Fantastic Four wound up being the rare superhero movie flop. Fantastic Four only grossed $56 million domestically and $167 million worldwide on a production budget of $120 million.

It's unclear if Fox removing Fantastic Four 2 from their schedule means the film is indefinitely canceled or if it will be rescheduled for a later date to allow more time for Fox to plan a strategy for what comes next.
