I've liked her very much in TWS, but in AOU she was so annoying. Actually the whole Hulk-BW arc was shit.

This. The Russos are handling her again so hopefully she'll be good again.

"The comics do it all, traverse these worlds, traverse these directions, and with each film we try to expand that." He talked about Scott Derrickson, the director, and the cast including Tilda Swinton and Benedict Cumberbatch, the latter of whom sent a recorded greeting.

"I"m very lucky and excited to be playing Doctor Strange for Marvel. He's an extraordinary character and brings in whole new multiple dimensions to the Marvel Universe. It will bring a mind-blowing experience."

"You're going to get girls, cars, explosions, and a bit of astral projecting into multiple dimensions - the usual fare."

While the movie doesn't start filming until November, they brought concept art for us to see in a video.

Narration by the director says "he's the top neuro surgeon in the world, but has a car accident that mangles his hands. He goes on a quest looking for healing, looking to recover, and meets the Ancient One."

The concept art shows Strange going to the far east, then being transported to, as promised, multiple cimensions. Cars flying through the air in the city, Baron Mordo fighting him, and the full on red caped look straight out of the comics.

He's doing magic, pulling mighty magical chains, and no joke, that look was RIGHT out of the comics. Even a quick 1-second CGI shot of Strange shooting magic bolts capped it all off. Huge reaction from the crowd

Chiwetel Ejiofor cast as Baron Mordo. Tilda Swinton cast as The Ancient One (wat)

A new rumor hints at the next Blade movie focusing on the original Blade’s daughter, who is to be introduced in one of Marvel’s “All-New All-Different” titles launching this fall.

Bleeding Cool reports the rumor, saying that this new development is likely why the series was delayed:

I understand from well-connected sources that this is due to careful concern from up above the food chain, that the character and the comic are suddenly considered extremely important by the bean counters, and the multi-media folk.

That sudden interest among the higher-ups is supposedly due to the movie plans. Blade was the first successful movie based on a Marvel Character, and fans have been wondering what Marvel might do with the franchise and character since the movie rights returned to them.

Original Blade star Wesley Snipes let slip that he’s been talking to Marvel about returning to the character. If that’s the case, it may be in a fatherly role, rather than as the franchise’s leading man.

A source close to Warner Bros. has revealed to us that a new DC Slate will be arriving soon, to what extent is unsure, but they know that it will involve more Batman films, this further supports the rumor that Warner Bros. is looking to extended Ben Affleck’s contract to include three solo films on top of the films he’s already attached to.

We also know that Warner Bros. is using their sister studio New Line Cinema, to make a slew of Vertigo titles, which will include 100 Bullets, Sandman and the DC Extended Universe film Shazam, so perhaps they’ll be a few more added onto that list.

This could also include a date for Man of Steel 2 and Justice League Dark, as we have reported the Man of Steel 2 rumor of being put on hold is a hard pill to swallow, as Warner Bros. has begun to prove how dedicated they are to following through with their overall plans.

Also Guillermo Del Toro’s script for Justice League Dark is finished, so all they’ll need is a director and date, since Guillermo Del Toro is too busy to direct it.

We also know from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, that we may get the Shazam film sooner than it was originally planned.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron Was Considered A Failure At Disney

Over the past few days, we've been hearing a lot about why Marvel Studios decided to move under the watch of Disney instead of Marvel Entertainment's CEO Isaac Perlmutter, and now Bleeding Cool may have another reason to add to the already pretty long list. While Kevin Feige and Ike had been at loggerheads for a while, it was apparently Avengers: Age of Ultron which was the straw that broke the camel's back. Apparently, Disney weren't happy with its $1.4 billion haul. That's a lot of money, but not enough, and not what many expected after the success of the first instalment and the Phase 2 releases which preceded it. The site adds that, "as a result, at Disney, it has been dubbed a failure. Which enabled Kevin Feige to use it leverage to push out Isaac Perlmutter."

Early on, many fans and analysts predicted that Avengers: Age of Ultron would top Avatar and Titanic as the highest grossing movie of all-time. While it was a million miles away from being a flop and still made Disney a lot of money, they clearly didn't get back as much as they expected. The site promises to reveal more about the divide between Feige and Ike, so stay tuned for updates.

That film was so disappointing. Good to hear Disney and Marvel isn't only about financial success, even though they probably expected a better profit.

Marvel's Civil War: Why Kevin Feige Demanded Emancipation From CEO Ike Perlmutter

Hollywoodreporter wrote:After friction over the budget on 'Captain America: Civil War,' the studio's film guru threatened to leave Marvel until Disney CEO Bob Iger intervened with a new plan.

In the end, and somewhat ironically, it was the upcoming Captain America: Civil War that helped catalyze a long-brewing civil war inside Marvel itself that ended with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige breaking free from his longtime boss, Marvel Entertainment CEO Isaac "Ike" Perlmutter.

As The Hollywood Reporter first reported Aug. 30, Feige and his highly successful film division now will report to Disney Studios chief Alan Horn instead of Perlmutter, the New York-based executive who oversees the Disney-owned company. Multiple sources say that Feige's years of frustration came to a head in part over the making of the third installment of the Captain America franchise, which recently completed filming in Georgia. Others say it was a move whose time finally had come because the film division slowly has gravitated toward Disney and now will be based on the Burbank studio lot.

Civil War, set for release May 6, has been nicknamed Avengers 2.5 because its scope — and its huge cast — is more in line with the Marvel mega-movies than the studio's normal single-hero outings. Set for release in May 2016, Civil War sees the Marvel heroes pitted against each other. It features almost every actor from the Avengers movies, including Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans, and introduces Tom Holland as a new screen version of Spider-Man.

Sources say the budget on Civil War ballooned accordingly, which didn't sit well with the famously frugal Perlmutter. "New York wanted to scale it down," says one insider. Marvel and Disney declined to comment.

"New York" in this case wasn't just Perlmutter, 72. It was also Marvel's so-called "creative committee," a group of execs from Marvel's various divisions including publishing as well as Alan Fine, Perlmutter's right-hand man. The collective has been around since nearly the inception of Marvel Studios in the mid-2000s, offering critiques of creative choices as well as input on business decisions. Insiders say that with Feige breaking free of Perlmutter and the New York side of the company the committee will not be disbanded, but its influence over the Marvel movies will be nominal at best.

The reorganization does not affect Marvel's television unit, which has enjoyed far less success than the film operation but does have several series on the air, including Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter on ABC and Daredevil on Netflix. The TV arm still reports to Perlmutter and the committee. Publisher Dan Buckley and chief creative officer Joe Quesada are among those who will remain on the committee for continuity purposes as some coordination and cooperation is required for Marvel's film, TV, comic book and merchandising arms to capitalize on projects and events.

"New York had a big say for a long time, but hasn't Kevin earned the right to some autonomy? He's made the company billions. Why is he reporting to a 72-year-old man who doesn't make movies?" asks one insider.

Sources say Feige, 42, contemplated leaving Marvel — certainly, he might be the industry's single most employable executive — before Disney CEO Bob Iger approved a reorganization that sees Feige reporting to Horn.

In terms of how business is done on the film side, the impact of the shake-up is not yet clear. "Why would it change?" says one top agent. "It's proven to be successful, and everyone still wants to be part of the Marvel Universe." But another top dealmaker holds out hope that the company will ease up on its notoriously tough terms in talent deals for all but the biggest Marvel stars. "I'm secretly hoping that it gets better with this realignment," this person says. "They're cheap, they're aggressive. It certainly can't get any worse."

Another person who has dealt with Marvel on numerous deals expressed hope that Marvel may loosen its tight reins on talent deal points. For example, Marvel, with several exceptions, does not pay merchandising royalties, which is not the industry norm, according to this source. Also, Marvel demands the right to use up to three minutes of an actor's performance from one movie for another, described as "bridging material," when the broader norm is 30 seconds.

Adds another top player: "I think it will be smoother and easier without Ike."

I really like the line-up. Will Smith, that cool guy from The Killing (which is one of the best series ever IMO), Cara Delevingne, Margot Robbie.

Will watch it for them alone.
