Chelsea have hijacked the deal, while Woodward's trip to Barcelona on Tuesday seems to have been futile.

Thoughts?

Is it a reasonable signing for Chelsea?

Anyone else shares the feeling that both Chelsea's and Man United's squads are not really improving?

You needed a signing like Griezmann to improve. Pedro isn't going to change anything and if he was supposed to be the big signing then I feel for Chelsea fans.

Tbf he has far better movement and finishing than Willian, i don't rate him lol but Chelsea's biggest problem is it has absolutely zero runners from midfield.

He at least solves that issue.

Griezmann, Goetze, Icso, any world class AM, not Pedro.

That said, I am holding onto hope that he'll come over and like many La Liga scrubs, do well just because the English game lacks technical players.

Agreed. Willian is like a statue off the ball never seen him make a impressive run in my life. Hazard biggest weakness is runs off the ball. Oscar is by far our best player when the ball is not at his feet.

So yeah he does address that need. But the issue is quality.

i am looking forward to seeing Azpi/Pedro combination better then IVa/Willian on the bright side though.
