Are we still in Transition?

Post by Don't call me James on Mon Aug 31, 2015 5:10 pm

Every season starts and we seem to be in transition under Rodgers. 300m and we are still in transition. We still need to have players settle before we can expect results. Jesus Christ when will this supposed transition period end? I swear we've never NOT been in transition under him so far.

Right now, we're in the transitional period of officially becoming a midtable club.

Well that is exactly what is happening. This current team would be unwatchable I swear to you if Coutinho wasn't a Liverpool player. Sturridge is the other guy but he hasn't played for a year so he don't count.

Mind you we are already playing one of the worst brands of football in PL in the past year.

We're not in transition, not after the cash one manager has spent on the squad. Nine players out of the eleven that started our last game were Rodgers's signings. We're in a phase where we can demand results and if Rodgers doesn't deliver them, he has to go.

I just hope Fenway don't wait the whole season if things aren't going well in December / January.

2nd longest serving manager in PL and we're still in transition.

Aren't we always in transition though?

Everything is in flux, nothing fixed.

I though the transition got over with Stoke defeat last season and we have already become a midtable team now :coffee:

I'm pretty sure we're about to peak under Rodgers. We had a few years of transition and now it look's like we've made a squad adequate enough to finish above Tottenham. Or so I hope.

Yes we are. I look at Swansea's squad, West Ham's squad and i can figure each guy's individual contribution to a specific system. I dont really think Rodgers still has a system in place.

He's had/signed three target mans and has failed to get the best out of all of them. Tweaking systems so that he can fit everyone in the starting 11. We are still yet to see what he does with Benteke.

Then there's this thing about Allen, Gleninho and Lovren.

Its a disgrace.
