btw, I don't get what Lucho sees in Mathieu at left back (unless Alba is injured, but he's on the bench so wtf).

As if he plays defense. Our defensive record last year vs this one up to this point....dafuq happened

we are clearly losing because of no messi though...
we cannot go through the midfield without hoofing it out wide or the center.
this is where we do nothing and pass the ball to messi near the DM area.   wait for some amazing throughball or dribble and he scores/setsup a tapin.

but rakitic or iniesta aren't really creating much other than some crosses.

only neymar seems to be able to produce something out of nothing in the team today, shame suarez doesn't do it more often like he did last season.

also with mathieu as leftback (even with adriano we have this problem) our left side is half as useless.. no pacey runs behind the defenders no real defender that can defend counter attacks.

alves also doesn't produce much as he used to.. he would sometimes dribble and find a good pass but nothing from him either.

Mathieu is the worst defender i've seen in a while.

Also ter Stegen is shining again though that was not due to him

The club managed this squad poorly for years and got by on our players getting it done. It was bound to happen that those players wouldn't be able to perform and get it done for us. For being such a big club we are run pretty terribly. Bar a few good moves here and there, we have been a joke in the way we set our selves up for the future. Had we done a better job at reinforcing our squad over the last 4 years the transfer ban wouldn't of ruined us so much this season

Great win, although being the worse team. But you could see some change in the team, so hopefully this was the spark and motivation needed to this season. Young ones to the rescue, Munir created the second goal and Roberto has been a surprise performer this season.

sandro had a promising game as-well, could of had two goals in a better day

i think our bench showed how it's not too weak though wind.
alba/munir/roberto changed the course of the game for the better.

Mathieu though. Wow, he is horrible. Iniesta and Neymar didn't have their greatest games today either.

I thought we were the far better team. Mathieu made Leverkusen look somewhat decent but they're fodder.

I hope the ginger man never gets to grace the Camp Nou again.
