Yes. Hitler also blamed the Jews for the economic crisis.

He believed that the Jews were an inferior race.

Jews were not considered people by Nazis.

The man who took the picture was quoted saying: "She was so young and frightened. The girl did not understand why she was there or what is being said to her. So this German woman, she took a stick and hit her in the face. She unloaded her anger on the little girl. Such a pretty lady, so innocent. She cried, but she could not do anything. Before the picture was taken, the girl wiped the tears and blood off her face. To be honest, I felt like it was me who got hit in the face, but I couldn't do anything either. They'd have killed me. You were not allowed to say a word."

The girl died in 1943 in Auschwitz, a month later after her mother died.

Out of 230 000 men and women under the age of 18, only 650 survived Auschwitz.

Hitler's first girlfriend was, in fact, Jewish - to top all of your points.

Witold Pilecki, Polish intelligence officer during trial, 1948

on 25 May 1948, Pilecki was executed by the Stalinist secret police for co-operation with Polish government-in-exile.

Pilecki after the announcement of the death sentence: "I've been trying to live my life so that in the hour of my death I would rather feel joy, than fear."

Some facts about Witold Pilecki:

- Intentionally captured and sent to Auschwitz to gather intelligence and organize resistance
- Refused multiple escape and release opportunities in order to continue intelligence gathering
- Broke out of Auschwitz after 2 and a half years
- Held off a group of Panzers trying to reach Warsaw for 2 weeks with only a small group of soldiers
- Commanded the Warsaw Uprising
- Began to gather intelligence on Soviet atrocities and refused to abandon his post, despite his cover being blown and the Polish government-in-exile imploring him to escape.
- Refused to give up information on any of his comrades despite brutal torture by the infamous "Butcher of Mokotow Prison"
- Posthumously awarded the Order of the White Eagle and the Order of Polonia Restituta, Poland's highest and second highest decorations
- Twice awarded the Cross of Valor during WWI
- Awarded the Silver Cross of Merit during the interbellum for social work and community activism

There was only one man in the history who voluntarily went to Auschwitz, then organised a resistance movement there, and later managed to escape from the camp by his own efforts. His name was Witold Pilecki. Maybe you would like to know his story?
