I know the whole transgender/vestite thing has been in mainstream atm. With Leto not so long ago in Dallas Buyers Club, that transgender tv series getting lots of hype and critical praise. Not to mention the Caitlyn Jenner story of this year. So it's defo the it factor in Hollywood atm. So I understand why people might be afraid that influences like that will be considered if it comes to Redmayne getting recognition in Danish Girl.

But again I can't say this enough. Let's wait and see his performance first. And give him his fair chance and look at the movie through a clear glass.

Also maybe Hemsworth in Heart of Sea will also conjure up something Oscar worthy. There hasn't been much given away from that film, and its trailers have been teasing as pretty much as A Force Awakens. Not that the hype is anywhere near the same of course.

All am saying though let's just wait and see ffs before drawing conclusions!

There's just something about Redmayne's face that pisses me off. Even though I agree he's a great talent, there's just something about him. Hope it changes for Fantastic Beasts though

Leo's main competitor will be Fassbender for Macbeth or Steve Jobs.

Yeah from the films already released so far Fassbander for Steve Jobs seems to be the unrivalled frontrunner atm.

Alright people looking for some crime thriller films. Things like The Town, Inside Man, Gone Girl, The Departed, etc. They don't necessarily have to be exactly like those of course but heavy involvement of police and crime etc.

I've probably seen all the major ones so get creative.

But the rest look interesting. I'll add them to my list. For Haywire, do you mean the one with the UFC chick?

Yeah, it's a pretty fun thriller with great action. Acting from Gina is not great by any means but I really like it.

Seen Leon The Professional, Sin City, and A Most Violent Year.

Road to Perdition looks great. Think that's what I'll watch first.

Also like the look of The Untouchables. Going to my list.
