The players are there to play football and not to be rested when the press decides they need to be rested.

Wenger will not retired this year, and like he always says, he will honer his contract...like he is doing us a favor.

Personally not a fan of having managers for 2-3 years and then changing things again. Unless we develop a barcelona model where we hire managers based on the style we want to see at Arsenal, it really isn't ideal to keep changing managers every few years and starting all over from scratch.

Of course it doesn't mean we give a manager 4 years and he is barely doing anything. But ideally we need to hire a manager who can be successful and wants to be a part of Arsenal. Not a journey man.

I think hes going for the record of having a longer tenure than every current manager in the PL put together. The fact its even possible he could achieve this is both hilarious and telling of the lifespan of a PL manager these days.
