Manga and Anime

Started and finished reading the Ping Pong manga today. Speechless too. It was brilliant. Peco became my favorite character. Smile, Dragon, Demon, Kong, Butterfly Joe, Grandma all were GOAT. Even that 2nd best from Kaio who appeared for 5 minutes ended up being a great character Amazing characters and narrative.

Gonna watch the anime tomorrow.

That guy who travelled the world searching for what he loved. Eventhough he was in as a comic relief, he was kinda important too to the story

Yeah, a while back. Mara and Firenze recommended it to me. Great series.

Not sure if recommended this to you ES but try Magi. Pretty sure you will like it. It's the type of shounen you enjoy. Will also feel at home with dat Arabian night lore.

But the anime doesn't do justice to the manga which is twice more detailed and in depth. Still worth it.

Finished Shokugeki no soma up to the current episode. So disappointed I've caught up and have to wait a week for a new episode!

Sounded silly af, but ended up getting really addicted.

Now going to watch "Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon". With a title like that what can go wrong!

never actually watched the anime I read the manga instead. Unlike my usual stance I'm not sure it was the right choice since I felt I maybe missed out on some of the atmosphere from not hearing the music. Although I ended up listening to some of the songs on youtube and they were not my kinda thing anyway lol. Pretty good read, although didn't like Sentarou's  resolution tbh. Animation quality looked good.

Animation was great. Set out the 60s perfectly. How can you read something about music ffs. I was never into jazz nor am but it was pretty cool due to the context.

I thought it was a great ending. Apparently its different in the manga.

Anyone know a good Manga reading app on the phone that isn't Mangarock? It has to be able to download unlimited chapters so i can read offline, price isn't an issue

premium version of mangarock allows you unlimited download doesn't it?

I never use mine anymore but I have something called Manga Searched, think it was free and unlimited.

@RG mangarock is so bugged for me and keeps crashing when i'm reading, tried reinstalling and restarting but still the problem persists

Has never crashed for me in the last 3-4 years. It's literally the best app since it collects mangas from every website out there.

last bleach chapter is getting universal hate. Not read the last 50 as I am waiting to see if they decide to restart the anime but you read it ES?or anyone else?

entire manga has been shite for about 10+ years

all the weekly shounen jump series eventually head that way, ridiculously dragged out and suffer a huge quality drop but they keep selling so they keep producing them

Bleach ended was a huge troll job, so many people were mad, especially since this arc was heading into some closure, stuff about Soul King, Squad 0, and the Quincies just completely disregarded. It was telling since the beginning, but a lot of charcaters got thrown under the bus in this arc for no reason, and he just ended it on a whim, like legit just decided to wrap it up in 3 chapters. While there were stil ongoing fights around lol. There is just one insanely amazing thing from this arc and i hope to see it in the anime. But yeah, like Firenze said, the manga has been declining for quite a while, i was reading for so long the least i could do is stick with it 'till the end
