He's not the first of this kind, is he? If we look at major trophy winners before him another coach similarly accused is Fabio Capello. There would be a few others at least. I think Mourinho could still be considered the most disgusting of them due to his extremely confrontational style and his gross over-estimation of himself.

At the end of the day in football maximum respect as a coach is earned when you do both - win the biggest of trophies but also make your team play with a style that becomes a reference point for ever in football. Rinus Michaels, Ariggo Sachchi, Johann Cruyff and Pep Guardiola are some such names.

The Egyptian has exploded into a world beater because he's playing under Klopp, a manager who doesn't play negative football and, as opposed to Mourinho, knows how to get the best out of his players without sucking the life out of them.

The best thing Salah has ever done was leaving Stamford Bridge and getting as far as humanly possible from Mourinho.

lol Of course he did not technically sell him. No coach sells a player. It's always the club. But he did not use him and got 50 year old Drogba to back up Diego Costa. What prevented him from developing Salah slowly as Costa's backup instead of getting a 60 year old from the Turkish League?

Mourinho's problem is not spotting talent because he signed players like De Bryune, Salah and Robben before they could gather any interest from other rivals.

His main problem is that he can't use those talents if they don't fit in his system or can't adapt to it. That's why players like Khedira, Fellaini and Matic are gods to him whereas he tends to avoid players like De Bruyne like a plague if they can't play his way. He's unbelievably limited to one tactical approach and if the talented player at hands can't adapt to that approach, it doesn't matter how talented they are, they'll ride the bench until they get sold.

He's the definition of a one-trick pony, and honest to god, aside from that brilliant high defensive line approach (which it wasn't his to begin with) he used to break Guardiola's Barcelona, I can't think of any tactical masterstroke he pulled off during his time in the Spanish capital. He can't step out of his comfort zone to save his life. He would rather park the bus until the latter is completely and utterly obliterated...and then he'll buy another bus and then lather, rinse, repeat.
