You could build a pretty decent PC for the price of a 980 TI Proud

At least it's not a Titan series. Still have the same gaming performance though. Titans are pro cards masquerading around.

But damn it feels good to just all the graphics settings without a care in the world.

Eh that's okay as long as you admit to the bestness of the Gravity Gun.

I love the puzzles, narrative and overall pacing of Half Life 2. It's what sets it apart and still makes it a great game in 2016.

I remember playing Half Life 2 on my friends Dell XPS laptop. every now and then some deathmatch in low gravity cube after dicking around in the campaign (and HL2 had a lot of potential for dicking around) and then a few rounds of CS source...

Bethesda are going to do an E3 presser again this year, quite surprised personally as I can't think of what they can show to make it worth while.

Dishonored 2, Fallout 4 DLC, maybe backward compatibility for Skyrim/FO3/New Vegas on Xbox One.

No chance of Elder Scrolls 6 imo. That is very far off going of their comments. They tend to announce Scrolls and Fallout games like six months before release dates.

The most Elder scrolls thing they can do is a remaster for Skyrim tbh, they'll probably announce Fallout DLC as well.

Outside of that realistically you are probably looking at blowout info on Dishonored 2, whatever the Evil Within and Wolfenstein devs are working on.

But that's probably it, maybe Prey 2 gets resurrected but that's even more fantasy than Last Guardian and Shenmue 3 lol was.

New ES is impossible IMO, those games take like 4 years to make and they'll probably going to run it on a new engine too.

Who says Bethesda will use a new engine xD Fallout 4 is "next gen" and still uses the Morrowind engine lol. A New ES announcement does seem likely imo as well as showcasing mods for Fallout 4? Wasn't that supposed to be a thing for consoles? also Fallout DLC etc.

Also I didn't know the differences were this big...

Because they used a new engine for Skyrim after it became obvious that Fallout 3s engine was well out of date. Also i really can't see how they can announce a new TES a year after FO4 considering FO4 took them 4 years Laughing

Games like Skyrim take at least 4 years to make, not a chance in hell of another mainline TES imo.

Fallout 3's and Skyrims engines (Creation Engine) are practically identical which is the modded version of the Gamebryo engine found in Morrowind and Oblivion. Fallout 4's engine is the Skyrim engine + enb at its core. The way it handles animations, scripting etc.

Keeping the same engine and upgrading it, despite its massive flaws has one massive bonus which helps FO and TES specifically - Modding from game to game is easy and almost identical. And it's also why the same bugs keep coming up like the infamous save game breaking bug from Morrowind popping up in Skyrirm, 3 iterations of the engine later.

Also, Skyrim was announced a month or so after New Vegas was released and released a year later.

You are right about one thing though, the Creation Engine IS well out of date.

Fine updating it then, because the difference between Skyrim and Fallout 3 was very noticeable.

I hope they do anyway, the difference between Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 from an artistic, performance and just overall visual fidelity is just embarrassing.

Mine was Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega. I didn't even have my own console at the time, I had to hang out with a lame neighbour just to be able to play games. He was also the first ginger person I ever saw, lol.

I started gaming too young to even remember but my mom says it was Super Mario Kart on the SNES when it came out.

First games I have solid memories of was Tetris on the Gameboy and watching my Mom play Wolfenstein 3D and Doom.
