Sarabia has been one of the best players in LaLiga this season. The way he is carrying this Getafe team and winning games against the odds is just amazing. No way he stays at Getafe this summer

Gonna get relegated anyway so he definitely should leave. Also, Emery changed an entire starting line up?

Soria; Mariano, Carrico, Rami, Escudero; N'Zonzi, Krychowiak; Vitolo, Banega, Konoplyanka; Gameiro

Team today:

Rico; Diogo, Fazio, Kolo, Matos; Cristoforo, Coke; Cotan, Iborra, Curro; Llorente



Matos, Cotan and Curro came up from the B team (Munoz came on as well, also from the B team). Diogo is surplus, Fazio will be sent back to Spurs and Llorente is a scrub. So no surprise we lost today.

Going to go the whole season without an away win in the league.

Unlike Liverpool, Villareal have something tangible to play for in La Liga since their UCL position is still tentative. Also, I'm not exactly certain they have the squad to rotate fully and Marcelino isn't as mad as Emery.

No we're not, only 5-6 players from our best XI are playing, stop trying to trick yourself into believing you have a chance this Thursday

yeah but I watched last 20 minutes now and the team looks so drilled in terms positioning of the players and their movement, Klopp does need to come up with some magical plan to go to the final without an away goal. And because of that my happiness about their players getting tired has gone to sink

The defensive prowess of La Liga teams is unreal. Tactically like 3 decades ahead of the rest of Europe.

winning 2-0 or 3-1 seems very difficult ! We just have to hope that they attack to score an away goal and when spaces open up we can score before they score, because if we do score the first one, it will be interesting.

@doc, positions 16-19 are just separated by 1 point. Getafe in this momentum i.e. beating LaReal away, nearly beating Valencia and now this away win at Depor they are definitely staying up

that counterattack and the player just needed a bit of more composure !

Ok, I should have been more honest. I hope they get relegated, they honestly don't really contribute to the greatest league in the world other than being Hey-tafe.

well I do think we still have a legit chance ! We just need the dancing Sturridge on the pitch

Some of these teams are definitely throwing games they should be winning. No way Levante beats Malaga away on a normal day. Same way LaReal would never lose to Getafe and Las Palmas to Granada. LFP have some investigations to do
