@Unique

Hm... Aren't you one of the people who defend the US 2nd amendment for the reason that armed civilian people can fight against a (unjust / oppressive / etc) government with deadly force by that? Isn't it just what the above people did? hmm

are you confusing me saying guns don't kill people. people kill people with terrorism. I don't care who loves or hates mandela. I don't care who thinks what he did was right or wrong. but what he and the ANC did was terrorism and that is a fact.

He knows nothing. Mandela was of the opinion that deadly force was the last resort. Military facilities were targeted first. Then, he targeted more sensitive places

Was death the right answer? I will never agree with that, but it's like unique is ignoring that South Africa had the worst apartheid situation in a developed country.

How can you say "it was dangerous to be a white farmer". How about this; it was hopeless and guarenteed you would be born into poverty and racism as a black man.

I wasn't mocking disabled children; I was just making a valid comparison. Feel free to respond.

I'd prefer people like Unique call Mandela a terrorist tbh, better than the sickening hypocricy of those who praise him but support Israel's modern apartheid.

what like wimpy burger bars. yeah that's sensitive alright. the man wanted equal rights for black people then sang songs about killing white people. and unique is not ignoring anything. you are sir. now like it or not I don't care but its a fact that the ANC committed lots of terrorist attacks.

They will fight for their (backwards) values to the end and they need to be called out on it.
what a man. what a role model. as a president he changed so much to help the people of south Africa.

Nah that's impossible.

It's a smart tactic by conservatives because they will milk votes on the basis that labour will not go for brexit and neither will lib dems. So vote Tories = vote brexit.

No one but Nigel Farage wanted Brexit - and Farage actually prefers to stay in the EU parliament for some quick bucks, too.

Several bank execs have come out and said the idea of moving because of Brexit is ludicrous and "highly unlikely" Moreover, the douche who initially started this rumour, Anthony Browne is a former BBC stooge andObserver lackey. In other words, he'd tell you that pimple on your face is due to Brexit

Parliamentary approval it is. Should make the process more complicated and slow. Should be interesting to see how the MPs vote on it, eventually. Their parliamentary careers could be at stake based on this single vote.

Delaying the inevitable. Doubt the parliament will go against the people. Looks more like they are buying time than anything since Theresa May still has no clue how to deal with brexit.

This seems more like a case of London intervening because no one there wants brexit due to the risk of losing the financial capital status.

Is there any way in which Cameron will not go down as the worst PM in history? Laughing

Not sure how this proceeds. Assuming the appeals fail and this decision stands, would parliament vote on executing article 50, the final deal or both?

It's uplifting to see so many former no-borders global euro-bureaucrats suddenly, as if the recipients of a divine revelatory experience, have an epiphany about the importance of parliamentary sovereignty.

I'd say this is more about due process.

In any event the reverse is also true: It's disturbing to see so many pro-sovereignty brexiteers to suddenly fail to recognize parliament.
