Arsenal Vs Watford
Sunday 13th March 13:30pm BST
Emirates Stadium

So this match is few days before our CL match with barca. Hope we don't even think about resting anyone. They can all rest against Barcelona.

Winning FA cup for the 3rd time would be nice. Doubt it will cover the cracks over not winning PL though.

Too many injuries so expecting the likes of Iwobi and Chambers to start again

--------------------Ospina-----------------------
Bellerin------Chambers----Monreal-----Gibbs
--------------El Neny------Coquelin-------------
Joel-----------------Iwobi----------------Walcott
--------------------Giroud-----------------------

Although we might see Ozil and Sanchez as neither started against Hull.

Yeah same, hope we don't try to rest for this game.

Will be interesting to see Wenger's approach to the next two games, and how one affects the other Laughing

He will NEVER play a B team against barca. Against his principles.

Even if we had a title decider on sat and we lost 4-0 in the 1st leg. He will still play full strength

this

also can someone please explain how everyone at Barcelona have been playing like mad men for so long with so little injury and show no sign of fatigue. I mean they have paper thin squad and everyone is like a bull there.

Serious business from quarter final onwards

Coq-ElNeny-Alexis-Mesut gonna play 3 matches in 7 days?

Keeping Welbz-Theo-Belle fresh for Wednesday

our defense is a complete joke btw with or without Le Coq. This is 100% on Wengers and once again Campbell is subbed. Full squad against freaking Watford at our freaking home stadium, Hull gave us false hope. We need change, enough of this shit.

Laughing

I'm losing count of the amount of times we're getting beat by teams who are simply stronger, quicker, fitter and more organised than ours. It's like whenever we play anyone with any semblance of structure, of having a plan, we come undone.

The structure of this team is awful. Igahlo and Deeney had several 2v2 opportunities in the first half when our full-backs were caught up the field. Where was the response to that? Which full back was hanging back a bit more, or which midfielder providing cover? Nobody. We're staring a blatant flaw in the face but not doing anything about it.

The first goal is a joke. A simple throw in, missed by two of our defenders, and Gabriel with yet another school boy error letting himself get rolled by Igahlo. Such an easy goal, happens too many times.

The second goal... well struck but Ospina looked suspect.

Funny thing is, we made several chances throughout the game and simply didn't take them. And where have I said that before?

Season's over. Out the FA Cup, out the CL on Wednesday and whatever hopes of challenging for the title will be up by next weekend too.

Watch this team suddenly start playing well and scoring again the moment they go out of all the competitions.

Not this time fortunately!

We will lose against Westham, Everton and City. Wink

The worst part is this loss is listing to Wenger talking about how good the team played. rofl
Wenger: "We did not make our possession in the final third count but we have shown that we can respond to disappointment."

Nothing new but...

Speaking after the game, Wenger said, “You’re always in the middle of a drama. It’s becoming a farce.

“We have lost a game, we are sad, and we want to focus on the next game

“You know Arsenal have lost games in their history and we lose again in the future, and we have to stick together and cope with it and prepare for the next one with a complete belief.

“Our long, long run has come to an end in a very sad way because I don’t think that we deserved to lose.”
