Hapless_Hans wrote:sportsczy wrote:Damn... i have to admit that France is loaded on the attack and attacking mids. Just crazy talented. We may not need a great defense with this group and there are a couple of guys still missing too. If everyone is healthy:
Benzema
Griezmann
Payet
Martial
Coman
Pogba
Giroud
Gignac (who is looking insanely good lol. He has 23 goals this season in Mexico and looks trim for once)
Fekir (too late probably)
Ben Arfa
Lacazette
Gameiro
Rabiot (won't make it probably either)
Just a lot of different threats out there. A lot of guys who would deserve to make the team are going to be left behind because there aren't enough spots.
I see Coman played the 2nd half?
How did he do?
Scored a sick goal.

In these run of friendlies,
Vardy scores for England. Kante scores for France. Mahrez scores for Algeria. Okazaki scores for Japan.
Leicester literally taking over the world.

Masterclass choices putting in Monto and Motta, as well as Darmian at CB from Conte, never seen such tactical nous since i got into division 1 of FUT and people were playing Mathieu as CDM and TOTY Iniesta upfront

Re: March friendlies
People have to stop thinking of the Lass that struggled his last couple of years at Madrid and then disappeared to Russia... this dude has been abducted by an alien. He looks like Motta on the ball (no joke) but much better defensively.
Frankly, every time I watch him this year, i am in total disbelief. He went from a headless chicken to a savant lol. He dominated PSG's midfield during the last OM-PSG game too.
He can be bought for very cheap and a top team that needs a 1-3 year solution for a holding mid would be very very very smart to pick him up. I'm looking at you Arsenal or Juve.

Mahrez wasn't nothing. He went to the WC with us and was always this good. His problem was his fitness and decision making, which both have been fixed.
Also sport, its pretty incredible how important the mental side of the game is. Never too late to fix that part of your game and Lass shows it. I think this is why we see players suddenly become amazing.. nothing changed, just the way they think of the game has.

Lass has matured a lot as a man too, It helps. A little bit too late but better than never.
France are lucky to have him and Ngolo now, one year ago they had no better choice than Morgan Schneiderlin and Cabaye.

Re: March friendlies
What a horrible pass
For someone under little pressure, he shouldn't play such a terrible pass.

Was that Werner or Draxler that just burned Pique?

Might switch to Germany vs Spain
Italy not looking good at all, Ventura's mark on this team has not been removed yet.

Re: March friendlies
This game is showing the best and worst of Jordan Henderson. He's done really well to get the ball off the defenders and shows decent appreciation of space, but ask him to play a forward pass into midfield and he can't do it. He really isn't hurting anyone.
Tbf to him it looks worse in a mid where the other CMs are playing really high up and aren't taking up good positions for passes.

Before Pique subbed, Werner was doing anything he wanted to him.

He's just played 4 games in the last 11, No idea why he started when he wasn't fit tbh
