Yeah... top to bottom, all the clubs have enough money now to compete. Best league in the world. All the best managers going there now too.

I'd say this is THE greatest achievement in the history of football, bar none.

I've posted before on the game where luck went completely against them. They've lost quite a few points from luck going against their way.
Don't buy into CSpurs propaganda pls.

There is a very clear difference between being happy for Leicester and thinking that Chelsea shouldn't be celebrating a draw in their home stadium against a team they think they're much better than like they've won the title tbh. I've been rooting for Leicester the entire season until about 5 games ago when I thought Spurs might actually have a chance

It could also have been attempted humour since I remember that convo well. Emphasis on attempted...

The greatest underdog story of all time
1984-85 Serie A was insane too... Helas Verona became champions ahead of Torino. Two underdogs on top!
Funny enough, it was the first season where referees were assigned randomly as opposed to designated by a commission... because there was a betting/corruption scandal Made it hard to pay off the refs on time... took a year for the bigger clubs to get their payoff structure adjusted

What a batshit crazy game temper wise
I don't know what's the record for retrospective punishment handed out from one game, but this could yet be a historical PL match in that sense, too.
But Leicester, goddamn... There are no words.

It's a London derby and they knocked a rival london club out of the race... these things get celebrated. No problem with that. Spuds were talking a lot of junk to Chelsea leading up to the game and they shouldn't have.M99 wrote:CBarca wrote:There is a very clear difference between being happy for Leicester and thinking that Chelsea shouldn't be celebrating a draw in their home stadium against a team they think they're much better than like they've won the title tbh. At least Chelsea gave a sense to their season , deleting the dream to Spurs.
They played to the death , Hazard to waste time around the corner on 2-2
I knew Spurs and Chelsea had a huge rivalry, but I didn't know so much
I like the " bastard" derbies though

Regardless, it's a bit of a shame to see what Chelsea has come to--hoofing the ball to the corner, playing the game out when it's 2-2 and you're playing your London rivals in a derby. Surely you want to win it to make up for the disgraceful season you've had but they're celebrating a draw at their own home, after being outplayed, like they've won the title.
They've capped off the worst title defense ever (?) in a fashion that deserves it, really.
Absolutely 100% congratulations to Leicester, who show that you don't need money to win in football. A class team who have completed the underdog story of the century.
Bad way to end the season for Spurs but the future is a lot brighter for those in white than it is for those in blue

the only purpose Cspurs or Spurs served is, a bit of entertainment in a season dominated by Leicester completely; otherwise for example, ydays match would not have been so historic.

Meh Spurs being in the CL while Chelsea languish in ninth is plenty enough for me. Don't particularly need any sugar.

In Tottenham's greatest season in the EPL, they can still finish below Arsenal. Please Newcastle, please grant this. Pls Rafa, pls.
