Finished watching the latest episode. RAAAAAAAAAAGE. (I knew it was coming, as anyone with some knowledge of SH knows that Conan Doyle took a break from writing for a while, but to end the last episode like that is inhumane).

CBS is gonna make their own Sherlock TV Series due to the success of this

it's called Elementary and Lee Miller as Sherlock and Lucy Liu as Dr. Joan Watson... so Watson is a women in this

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2191671/board/threads/

the writers of BBC's are angry because CBS wanted a NY version of their story but they denied it, and now they are starting their own. and the BBC writers think it will undermine theirs if it fails

The series is good. Nothing spectacular or great, just good. I might watch on because the last episode was very good and ended with an amazing cliffhanger.

The chemistry between Cumberbatch and Freeman is very good. Great casting choice on that.

Magnussen was a fantastic villain. Did not like the 2nd episode (Watson's wedding) so much. Episode 1 and 3 were Molenation

The whole scene with Sherlock deciding on how to fall (Backwards or forwards) was the best scene in season 3

Second episode was probably the best of this season for me.

Magnussen was good but imo he wasn't properly developed over the season.

Are you talking about the 'modern' Holmes series!!! Although the it wasn't bad but the very idea of re-engineering such classics are kind of sacrilege to me. Still it's way better than the one with 'Lady' Watson.

BBC's Sherlock Empty Re: BBC's Sherlock

Post by Lucifer Thu Dec 10, 2015 5:49 pm

"Sherlock" is set to return this Jan. 5 with its one-shot special episode set in the Victorian era but season 4 proper is still a long way off, with production scheduled to begin in the middle of 2016. However, according to a report from Entertainment Weekly just a while back, it appears there are already plans to take the show down darker roads.

According to writer-producer Steve Moffat, the plan they have set in motion is "devastating" in nature and reduced the cast to tears when they heard what the team has in store. The series has gone dark before, particularly with episodes involving Moriarty (Andrew Scott) but it appears that this time, season 4 will go beyond that.

No release date for season 4 has been announced, but given that the series is set to begin filming next year it is speculated to premiere by late 2016 or early 2017.
