Bryan can't be replicated imo. You can't just put any old small underdog into the main event and expect him to be super over. If that were the case Evan Bourne, Tyson Kidd, Sin Cara, Kalisto etc would all be super over. The fans loved him for who he was, so there was obviously something about him that was main event worthy skillset wise.

Depends how they build it, i would have said the same with AJ. But the good will of having a good/great match the angle of " The Club " urgh lol and " The Bloodline " the shades of grey from both of them instead of the usual good guy/bad guy dynamic they usually push in storylines has people invested in both guys IMO.

At the end of the day, good booking will get people on side. It's up to them to actually do that properly and not *bleep* it up as per usual.

@Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:No point arguing with someone who thinks Titus O'Neil is as good as Reigns tbh.

It's quite sad how little credit Reigns is giving for the things he's good at, we all accept there's major issues with him but he's not some jobber scrub who has zero going for him.

Not saying MT either, but in general. I don't even like him that much really but you have to blind to see he does a lot of things well.

Just because he can't cut a babyface promo very well at all, doesn't mean he's a complete scrub in every facet and promos are not the be all and end all.

If it was up to me he wouldn't be an unstoppable juggernaut who never loses clean and to me that would make the main event scene more interesting as it would create a fresher main event scene but that's hardly his fault.

The only reason Reigns seems better than Titus is because of the way he's booked. Looking at Reigns, he obviously sucks at promos, has no unique character and he's rejected by the fans, so what exactly does he have going to justify his face of the company spot? I think I just realised. hmm

You are arguing a point i don't disagree with though, i have said many times i don't think he should be the face of the company.

My point is he's still miles better than he's given credit for, he's not Cena but he's not a jobbing scrub either.

Fair enough he's not a jobber, talent wise at best he's a midcarder or an upper midcarder imo.

He could easily be a jobber though (if the WWE decided to misuse him) and nobody would bat an eyelid since he's not really a great entertainer/great in the ring.

Maybe a few smarks every so often wondering why this big Samoan powerhouse with potential is jobbing on superstars. hmm

You need to realize that being FOTC isn't about how over or how talented you are. For Vince, it's only about the look. He wants someone who can make the company look good outside of the WWE. Reigns has a good look, and speaks well (in terms of interviews). Him coming from a wrestling family, and having an athletic background is just a plus that strengths their faith in him.

Trust me, they know Reigns lacks talent. Laughing

As if some pleb like Sandow could've done what Rollins done without everybody tuning out 2 months in to the story.

Rollins is a lad.

The problem with some people is that they think a wrestlesr are the sum of their skills but that's not how things work. Look at Andre The Giant, his ring work is meh, his mic work is meh, but he is a legend. Now compare him to Big Show, who's better in the ring and better on the mic, but he is no where near Andre. Sure big show was booked like shit, but two promotions didnt see money in him and booked him that way. Then you got Goldberg, he was shit on the mic, shit in the ring, but he got over as *bleep*. Sure it's the booking, but how many winning streaks did the fans shit on before and after Goldberg? why did he make it work and others couldnt? How come Taker is the legend he is when he's neither special in the ring or on the mic? how come he made a cartoon gimmick work when others couldnt do with better? How come Bryan got over a way ziggler only dreams of  when on paper ziggler has more skill than Bryan. How come no one gives a shit about ADR when he has everything he needs to succeed, including the booking. It all goes down to being special, it's that it factor. Just like in real life we are drawn to certain people for some reason or another and you cant always know why,

Yeh, basically charisma. Sometimes it's the skills (mic skills/character) that makes someone charismatic, like the Rock and Austin for example. Other times it's just something you can't pinpoint. I mean I loved Goldberg, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy and Bryan. They weren't the greatest on the mic, but they had something special about them and were extremely charismatic.

Personally, I just feel that Reigns doesn't have that 'it factor' or anything unique that can entertain the audience. Not saying he absolutely sucks or anything, but he's not ready yet to be the number 1 guy. He's not 'the guy', he's just 'a guy' imo.

The Roman Reigns crowd reaction debacle continues as apparently Vince McMahon has a new position on the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Vince’s new position on Reigns was relayed by JBL during RAW commentary when fans were booing Reigns. JBL said, “If you love him or hate him, you’re very passionate about him.”

– Regarding the Enzo Amore concussion suffered at WWE Payback, there are different ideas on how the injury happened. One is that Enzo was first knocked silly by a knee before his head bounced on the middle rope and that he was knocked twice. The other is that Enzo’s head bouncing off the middle rope is what knocked him out and led to his head hitting the apron. Apparently Enzo believes it’s the latter.

– It will be interesting to see how WWE books the July 4th RAW. Because it is a holiday and they will still have three weeks until the Battleground pay-per-view, expect that show to be a throw-away. That RAW will also likely be the lowest-rated of modern times, if not all-time.

It doesn't have to hmm

It's important AJ doesn't look weak though, because we all know Roman won't lose regardless.

Something needs to happen imo, that or the club turns on AJ or something. AJ needs to be made to not look weak like you said, but you just know Roman is gonna kick out of finishers and win clean

He didn't at Fastlane hmm the kicking out of finishers part anyway.

It's one of the reasons I liked it tbh, they protected AJ despite the fact Roman won. I'm just worried that's tougher to do the 2nd time around.

But we'll see, I'm interested to see how it's handled.

When is Rollins returning ?

It would be waste to keep Reigns as still the babyface by then because i'd imagine he'd almost immediately be in the title picture.
AJ on the other hand will probably feud with Balor.

One thing i have to say this AJ-Roman feud has been better than anything we've had since Bryan feuding with the Authority.
Loving Y2J-Ambrose feud as well.Funny but at the same time there's intensity as well.
