Cesaro may not have been the only one whose Draft day was affected by backstage heat. There’s some talk management didn’t like Bray Wyatt responding to Matt Hardy the week before, and was slipped to the third round as a result. It could also be why Braun Strowman went to Raw.

If so Sasha is getting buried too lol, don't listen to every rumor you read Razz

there's not many reasons for Bray to be picked higher than he was anyway.

He was SmackDown's 5th pick and there's no kayfabe reason why he'd be picked in front of AJ, Cena, Ambrose or Orton lol.

Almost none of the matches mean anything and have been just filler to the draft or setting up more meaningful matches for Summerslam.

I agree on all your predictions though except for Zayn, think Owens wins.

Breezango and Usos on the pre show was actually really good lol, was expecting it to be total dog shit.

If nothing else I hope this draft allows people who don't get much time to prove they can actually develop into something.

Not all of them will succeed obviously but hopefully they get the opportunity to fail.

JBL keeps referring to this a one match favour so I don't think Bayley is coming up permanently yet.

This has basically confirmed by Mauro Ranallo on twitter when he was asked who she's being drafted by? "she still has unfinished business in NXT"

Zayn and Owens is a potential match of the year imo, amazing and no way anything tops it tonight imo.

Was better than their Payback match which I didn't think would happen, been a very good PPV so far despite the fact most of it didn't look interesting before hand.

Kind of expect the next two matches to ruin that lol.

He's been beaten clean two PPVs in a row lol.

Also i'm pretty convinced Bray is facing Ambrose for the title as well, with AJ and Cena tied up together, Orton( whose segment with Jericho i enjoyed) with Lesnar i don't see who else it could be.

Well this PPV certainly didn't look like a filler, apart from Rusev vs Ryder and The Miz vs Darren Young most matches were good.

The match between KO and Zayn is a candidate for match of the year imo.

Enzo has amazing one liners ffs.

The highlight reel segment with Randy Orton was pretty good. Randy dropping the mic with the "No enhancement needed" line. Laughing

Overall great PPV, WWE is on the right track once again, i like how they're pushing the Smackdown brand by giving them the main title.

It didn't but it looked like it was going to leading into it, even Rusev vs Ryder had a good ending.

No real complaints from me tbh.

Still see zero logic in splitting up the Wyatts. Whoever thought of that needs shot. They haven't achieved any titles as a group yet or anything it's madness. Hope the next draft reunites them.

Having said that they'd probably need to be on RAW. With all 4 of them running around they'd be too big for that smackdown roster. All of the other relevant groups stayed on RAW.

They have only split up Strowman no? Who nobody cares about anyway lol.

Rowan is on SmackDown and Harper is injured so not on anything yet, I don't think they are going to split them up tbh.

Vince just has a hard on for Strowman, the original 3 Wyatt family will all be on SmackDown imo and I'd be surprised if they put Harper and Rowan alone.
