I'm not remotely surprised or even disappointed. England are an awful team, with an awful manager, an awful FA and totally accustomed to failure.

Iceland deserved every bit of this. I'm happy for them, as they play with pride.

It's every *bleep* tournament.

We beat up some scrubs in qualifying, everyone is happy. We kind of have a plan for the tournament.

Then a few players have some good form or return from injury and whatever plan we had is ripped up months before the tournament begins.

England play warm-up friendlies before the tournament "experimenting" and "finding the best formation". A month before the tournament even begins. No other nation does this.

The tournament starts and the lack of planning and system is brutally exposed.

Now we'll beat up some scrubs and the cycle will repeat itself.
