So everybody else is wrong LOL

You can't show me such an historian, because an historian deals in facts. You might point to a maniac that makes wild assertions.

As many professionals have stated in Italy after Inter's acquisition campaign this year, Inter's personnel are at Juve's and Napoli's level, if not superior. How they play as a team is another matter altogether.

Oh, well, if Oddo said it, it must be true. I mean after all, he's a professional.

Personally, I'm disgusted anyone would even challenge Breva's claims, he's cited three separate people, all of which are professionals.

Inter, best team ever, confirmed (just don't tell Chievo, Bologna and Palermo this- they must have missed the memo about how talented Inter's 11 was)

I suspect English may not be your forte'. We are discussing personnel, not the performance of the team. That's what Ventura, Oddo and Bucchioni are commenting on.

Google "appeal to authority", you'll see how every argument you put forward is a blatant logical fallacy.

And if you don't see a direct correlation between personnel and performance, then there's not really much more to talk about (not that we really had a strong conversation going, it was like dropping different types of fruit off of a balcony and listening for them to explode from the impact, with my brain being the fruit and the fall being reading these mindless posts)

I believe Juventus will win the scudetto again this year, how much can I possibly win betting on Juventus? I still don't believe you quite get it. Having the best personnel does not result in the best team.

There is a great difference between player talent and team performance. A much less talented team personnel-wise can perform better than a team with far more talented personnel. Leicester may ring a bell. LOL

That's such bs and you know it Breva. Leicester is an exception to the rule. They overachieved. Other than Leicester every other league was won by the team with the most talent. If you actually think Inter matches Juve on talent man for man then there is no reason to think they can't win the scudetto this year.

Stop backtracking and put your money where your mouth is and take my bet....

Give up guys, he just keeps saying how the squad is better than Juve and Napoli without actually saying why, in which positions, what players. Or refuting anything I pointed out. Because he obviously has no point to make besides "Oddo said so".

Allegri teams are always bad in September, the Juve performances depend on it ( the Palermo victory is the typical victory that if Inter under Mancini did it, it was because of luck but ok . We created 100 times more than it but tied ) . Then they'll evolve it.
Frankly Serie A is a written league , it's not even so amusing to follow for a neutral.
The first two places are already decided , and these are the same two places than last year : Juventus and Napoli.
Inter,Milan and Roma (in alphabetical order ) should fight for the 3rd place, that's everything.

I think everyone agrees that the Palermo win was because of luck. The team certainly didn't get any praise from it.

Atalanta - Napoli
Bologna - Genoa
Cagliari - Crotone
Empoli - Juventus
Milan - Sassuolo
Pescara - Chievo (Sat)
Roma - Inter
Sampdoria - Palermo
Torino - Fiorentina
Udinese - Lazio (Sat)

Both Inter and Roma are competing for the same CL spot and they need the result, should be a great match on paper. Realistically both Sassuolo and AC Milan have the same objectives, AC Milan are looking strong so far this season but Sassuolo are no push overs. Juve and Napoli will get their 3 points so whatever..

Roma-Inter will be a very important game. Not just for the points from a rival (which is big) but for Spalletti and De Boer.

A lot of heat right now at Roma, and optimism at Inter. If De Boer beats Juve and Roma within 2 weeks things should sail happily and peaceful for a while for them. On the other hand Spalletti needs to straighten the team and a loss against a rival could be fatal for them by confirming the collapse after losing to Fiore and Torino.

Inter are going to wipe the floor with us tbh.

To call the defense "makeshift" would be too kind. Midfield is running somewhere between overworked and zero fraks given and the forwards either lost their shooting boots or had them ransomed for their balls.

Going to take more than a Spalletti half-time pep talk and a Totti wonder winner to get us past Inter with 1 point let alone 3. I see 0 points in our future for this one.

Roma might not be in the best shape now but offensively they can give us a massive headache, especially if the likes of Ranocchia and D'Ambrisio play. A lot depends on who's available so if Mario and Ansaldi start we might get a win. Either way this game should be very entertaining with plenty of goals for each side.

Meh, I'm a fan of good old-fashioned solid defending and Roma are anathema to that, especially against players like Icardi, who I think gets a goal in this one. Possibly a brace.

Unless our opponent is Crotone, our attack has been stuttering. We are threatening on paper, but that's about it. We're paper tigers basically. Or paper wolves. Yeah that fits better.

Inter just need to stay solid at the back, let Handa do his thing in goal and Roma will get frustrated eventually and start making dumb mistakes. This team is that predicatable at this point.

Inter's 11 vs Sparta Prague

Handanovic; D'Ambrosio, Ranocchia, Murillo, Miangue; Gnoukouri, Melo, Banega; Candreva, Palacio, Eder

missing Mario, Icardi and Miranda. They are down 2-0 in 45 minutes.

rincon wrote:Inter misses Joao Mario and the team already doesn't function. Icardi shoulder the goals almost alone. Plus the fact that one of the starting CBs miss a game and its a defensive crisis. They don't (and can't) rely on their back ups.
