Barcelona dropped points in almost a quarter of their games last season so no, losing to them at home can't be considered "doing good". At least not for a team like Bilbao which is one of its leagues best teams.

Villareal/Sevilla on now.
Sevilla team:
Rico; Mariano, Rami, Pareja, Kolo; N'Zonzi, Kiyotake; Vitolo, Vazquez, Sarabia; Vietto
Or could be
Rico; Rami, Pareja, Kolo; Mariano, Kiyotake, N'Zonzi, Sarabia, Vitolo; Vazquez, Vietto
Who really knows

The fact that he got lucky doesn't diminish from the idiocy of his decision making.
What was stupid about it?
He had a wide open option on the right that he could've used one touch and Barca could've restarted their attack. Instead he turns fully around and runs towards the goal before using his weaker left foot to play the ball to someone who had a man breathing down his neck?
Stupid risk that wasn't necessary at all.
I don't necessarily disagree, I was more just curious about your reasoning. Overall I feel that it wasn't a stupid decision because I think Ter Stegen is good enough with his feet that he's fine doing that. I do think it was an immature decision because it was unneeded (as you said). In time he'll figure out when you should play that pass and when you should do something slightly more fancy. For every other keeper I'd call it stupid because I don't have faith they could do it as well as MatS. For MatS I do have faith he can, but I think the smarter decision is the one you pointed out.

Bilbao always do this to me. When I look at a La Liga matchday and I see Bilbao against Real/Barca I routinely think "ooooh I will watch that there could be an upset".
Because seeing Real or barca lose is always pleasurable.
But there's never an upset. Bilbao always pretend to be tough to beat but really just get straightforwardly beaten every time.
Now that I think about it, I think I've grown to detest and hate Bilbao from the bottom of my heart for that continued deception.

I feel the same way about Bayern, except I never think "oooh there could be an upset", and then there also never is

Happless you want to see Barca/Madrid lose? Watch Valencia vs Madrid and LaReal vs Barca. Guaranteed losses/draws. In the future don't hesitate to ask before a game if a team can cause an upset year on year it's usually the very same teams that cause upsets no matter what slumps they are in or what coach they have. Bilbao are just pretenders.

That's what I mean. But why did I get the idea they were a strong team in the first place? Is it the Bielsa aura? The Basque nationalist backbone and purity stuff? Because they knocked out a Fergie Utd once (as if that was some great achievement)?
As for Valenica vs Real, yes I've had few pleasurable experiences with that tie, though it could be more, and tbh watching a 0-0 borefest against Barca in San Sebastian isn't that great either.

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17
I think it was the EL hype from years ago tbh. Even i hyped them up until i saw the light. Never again
Watching us against Valencia is usually a treat for non Madrid fans because they have a chance to see our players really lose it As for Barca, they concede defeat to LaReal before the game has even began tbh. Then there are these provincial teams like Osasuna and Granada with the most hostile fans ever who think it's acceptable to throw umberellas at players.
Have patience my dear, those games are yet to come

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17
Villareal are still a very organised team under Escriba. Not as dangerous on the break yet though.
Seeing less mistakes from Sevilla but they're lacking runners from midfield. Vietto is their only real threat in behind.

Bruno Soriano looks very serious, almost on the brink of tears.
Tbh I'd be crying too if my teams kept absolutely bungling chance after chance

FFs, MAriano can't cross for shit. Sevillas build up and positional game is perfect. The final ball movement is terrible.

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17
Jay promised a high scoring game
Vietto was promised to be the new Aguero
Instead it's 0-0 and nobody will remember the name Vietto in 4 years.
People should just stop promising stuff tbh

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17
Strain on N'Zonzi still too big for my liking. He's had an excellent game but he has no support, makes Sevilla suspecitable to the press.
Need Kranevitter or Ganso in there.
