I'm sorry but we can laugh at them all we want but can they do any better? They simply can't. They got Suarez because noone wanted him due to his behavioural problmes. The truth is Liverpool are not one of the top clubs. They have the history but that's it. The fact that Suarez was willing to try and go to Arsenal should give you an indication of where the club is at. They have to be smart and sign good players that can fit Klopps system.

They don't need to buy big names anyways. I think they will do well against the top teams and struggle against compact teams like Klopps teams usually do because he still hasn't adjusted his tactics for about 5 years. Similar problem Mourinho has when his teams are forced to take the initiative.

So i did an extensive search on this Kelvin fellow and got the following:

The kelvin is defined as the fraction 1⁄273.16 of the thermodynamic temperature of the triple point of water (exactly 0.01 °C or 32.018 °F). In other words, it is defined such that the triple point of water is exactly 273.16 K

Does well on cold nights at the Britannia, but tends to evaporate the longer the game wears on

+1 for the well though out coherent post jibs

However, i cannot help but feel their midfield has been a dire bunch for a while, Hendo, Can and Wijnaldum, i cant see them dominating against the top sides, especially when the big 4/5 got an injection of midfielders.

It's not about dominating them. Klopps tactics are at their peak when his teams are allowed to transition. Small teams are more compact so it is harder to do. WHen Klopp plays teams like City and Arsenal, they are teams that almost always take the initiative with the ball so Klopps counter pressing is most effective then. Look at the big wins he had last year.

In his final few years in Bvb, especially after his last league win, bvb struggled in the league because teams started respecting them and getting tighter. In their CL run, they faced teams that were meant to be bigger especially in the group stage, City, Madrid etc and even Ajax because of the way de Boers set up. They were all there for the killing. It's no surprise that the team he struggled against the most in his best run was Malaga as pellegrini made them very compact although BvB were guilty of missing a few good chances.

Didn't you ever wonder why they topped the group in Klopps final season there despite being awful in the league? Then they faced Juventus who let them take the initiative and they got hammered. The spacing between his CMs when teams sit back sometimes is embarrassing to watch in some games. At points in his final season his CMs were in a straight line when the cb had the ball. How are you supposed to build up and circulate the ball effectively. Look at the Spacing again last year when they faced Sevilla. Tuchels BvB were the perfect team for his style to face.

I meant dominating in the sense that they are winning, like how they beat City 3-1 earlier this year, not in the sense that they have the majority of possession

What's new? Liverpool stopped being big club in 2010 when Mascherano left to Barcelona. They have no chance of 4th place in Premier League. They will fight for 6th/7th place, that's their target.

lmao at this thread.

It's 100% certainty we're going to have 80+ point season. If we're lucky it will equate to a title like Leicester this season.

i agree with jibers, klopp going out to get well known names doesn't seem like something in his mo, considering his dortmund stint. i didn't know lewandowski sahin kagawa gotze or any of those boys until klopp's dortmund started making noise. i reckon he's hardly ever been in the market for names we are familiar with (aside from maybe hardcore bundesliga fans who may have been familiar with those dortmund players before klopp)...and btw liverpool have little pull in the market these days

Better than all of our previous players and we reached 2 finals last year, Not sure if serious.

Anyways it'll be the usual for us 5/6th place assuming Klopp gets some spine into this team. Attacking potential is immense, That's evident. Midfield, Defense and Keeper is what always disappoint.

Pretty depressed about this window. Just buying mid-table players or even worse than that. My hopes about the season are doing the double over United and Everton and finishing an amicable 6th.

We've always bought players of similar stature in our history, Liverpool has never been a club that has bought tier 1 talent. Not being as elite as our counterparts and the location of the club have been the deciding factors

there's one great player in that team and a bunch of mid-lvl players

doesn't matter though as they aren't gonna line-up like that ever

Sane? lol..nvm guess you meant Mane

Mane Firmehno Fekir
Milner Keita Hendo
L M F A
O

willl be the lineup if they sell Salah IMO, could see them go for an expensive upgrade on Hendo too but don't really know what's out there

Jibs spot on in this thread.

Pool have done well when they play teams that are open against them and still struggle against others. That's why they might not finish top 4 this season despite making the CL final. That's also why they're making the CL final. They didn't face Juventus or Chelsea, they faced City and Roma. Porto doesn't count.
