Rich coming from you.

You got this fake gimmick going so you don't have to do a Houdini again when Fraudetinno knocks JJ out?

Nolito scores the first goal of the Montella era.

Already a better coach than Berizzo tbh.

Montella Laughing playing 3 debuts: Layun, Mesa and Sandro. Leaving Banega and Mercado out. Laughing First time they played with 2 strikers also - It was a terrible day for Lenglet too, he has been schooled by Orellana and Inui all day long. Pareja should retire soon.

Through to the Copa del Rey final.

Montella's got this.

Best performers tonight: Mudo Vazquez, Joaquin Correa, Luis Muriel... he's getting performance out the ex-Serie A guys, at least.

They’re finding it easier to get in dangerous pockets of space in the opposition’s territory. Muriel has regained his confidence and is running at these defenders, Sarabia is constantly getting himself on the scoresheet (one way or another), and Lenglet seems to have picked up a thing or two from Pareja with that pass over the defence.

Rico is doing great in goal, but at the same time it’s scary if they gave up those chances like last game against Girona against to the likes or Lukaku, Sanchez or Martial. Las Palmas will offer a different challenge, and i’m sure Mesa will compete his hardest in training this week to start in that fixture. Guido did his best to give the midfield a different look, but i feel Mesa could provide more. Appearance aside, Nzonzi & Guido have far too similar profiles for that double pivot to be dynamic.
