Burnley vs Liverpool

Post by Nishankly on Thu Aug 18, 2016 2:49 am

Second of our 3 away fixtures in the PL,

Team news:

Karius, Lucas, Sakho and Gomez are out. Mane is a huge doubt and could be rested considering the depth we have.
Sturridge, Milner and Can should be fit for this.

Team expected:

Mignolet
Clyne Lovren Klavan Milner
Can Henderson
Wijnaldum Firmino Coutinho
Origi

We have so much depth ffffffsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Could see Origi or Studge depending on Studge's fitness but i think he won't be risked and might get a few minutes at the end, Same with Matip.

Moreno could be dropped for Milner as our coaches keep trying to improve him a player.

Could see Lallana continuing after a fine display at the Emirates or maybe Wijnaldum coming in.

We could even see a change in formation 4-3-3

IDK what to expect whenever the team news will be announced this season ( not happened since 08 imo)

Matip and Sturridge will surely start against Burton in the League cup on 23rd.

Hoping we continue to click, Will concede fosho.

Going to miss the game due to exam :brickwall:

I think Klopp will persist with 433

Mignolet
Clyne Lovren Klavan Milner
Can
Henderson Lallana
Wijnaldum Firmino Coutinho

BTW, is Ings injured or something?

We've got so many players for the exciting positions that I don't really care which of them start, early on in the season pretty much everyone deserves a chance. It will be interesting to see how Klopp manages all that depth without Europe...

Hmm...

Clyne - Lovren - Klavan - Milner
Can
Lallana - Wijnaldum
Firmino - Origi - Coutinho

Sturridge will get subbed on later. Must get the 3 points here.

I will go f nuts if we dont get 3 points in this game. It will be same old Liverpool if we draw or lose against them.

That depth for attacking positions Proud

Klopp's first test this season.

No disrespect to Arsenal, but we always struggle with breaking teams like these down, let's hope we can get an early goal early and take control. Hopefully Sturridge is fit to play as he's our greatest X factor.

Agreed, but playing at home, Burnley might become a bit adventurous.

Two down at half-time. This is what I'm talking about, good luck "playing the Klopp way" in games like these.

We can score two or three in 45 minutes against Burnley, though, hopefully the lads pull it off.

*bleep* hell

Very rarely do I ever post on game day but this is *bleep* terrible.

Moreno to blame for the first goal. Not sure what Lovren was doing either.

Second goal even worse, literally ran passed as if we weren't even there. There's literally no leadership back there. Matip and Sakho need to come back asap. As does Lucas or Can.

Which leads me into saying our midfield is shit, Henderson can't play as an anchor. Wijnaldum is NOT Liverpool first team quality, hes a squad player at best. Coutinho having his usual meh game. Lallana can't shoot. Sturridge doesn't look fit / interested.

Stats will say we're all in control but we're playing Burnley's game here. Hope Klopp gives them a bollocking how *bleep* embarassing.

so after having a transfer window and a good preseason under his belt it looks like we are in the same spot as we were under Rodgers. Money spent. Loads of team changes and getting raped at the back by lge 1 quality teams. So who do you fancy to be the next Liverpool manager
