I still don't see how people who hate Man of Steel will like this one though hmm

felt much like the same tbh. Thought they were equally great.

Only real stinker is Suicide Squad and the Martha scene execution.

I'm commenting on the movie. I'm stating how I'm still confused by the hate Man of Steel got when I think it's the same level as Wonder Woman for me personally.

Only explanation is the lack of Chris Pine. Guess that's it.

He's directing the reshooting in addition to writing extra scenes and dialogue, which he was hired to do before the tragic incident.

He's in charge of finalising the post production also, which includes scoring.

JL2 isn't announced yet so hard to say. My guess would be Patty Jenkins, Joss or Vaughn. Unless Snyder comes back. Joss is doing Batgirl at least. Can't wait for that one.

Wonder Woman was great, easily the best DCEU movie. It started of slow, was thinking it was overhyped but it kept getting better and better. Reminded me a lot of The First Avenger.

Also the new DC intro is hype. Miles better than the MCU one.

Saw Wonder Woman, best DCEU movie and probably one of the best comic book movies, Chris Pine and Gal nailed their roles, their chemistry was incredible. That No Man's Land scene is going in the annals of comic book movie history, like Spiderman stopping the train, the ending to The Dark Knight.

I know this is a hot topic but, Snyder's absence really showed in this, not a director/producer/executive just a writer, which is why the movie succeeded, i think. Really wish more DC movies had some light hearted humor in them like that boat scene. Not everything needs to be gritty with a black/grey/dark gold/piss palette

Still think BvS is the best DCEU has done thus far, but Wonder Woman was a very good 4/5.

The No Man's Land scene was outstanding as mentioned.

You got it wrong ES, from what I heard Snyder had a lot of input in the action scenes of Wonder Woman.

2/3 of the movie also had the same kind of colour palette. But I guess that's only a bad thing when it's Snyder hmm

Watched Wonder Woman

Thought it was great. But not as good as BvS. Had some unbelievably good moments. Trench scene was fantastic.

Aries was very underwhelming. Thought there were far too many slow motion scenes. Direction wasn't as good as other DCEU films imo.

Gal Gadot really is a piece of art :bow:

Chris Pine was amazing.

Wasn't as good as other DCEU films. Hope you don't include the piece of shit that was Suicide Squad in that.

I also really don't see any problem with the directing. If anything this had the best directing of any DCEU film other than Man of Steel imo. Great performances, streamlined movie that fit the time frame. Didn't film too many scenes. Knew when to use humour, when to be somber and when to kick ass.
