It’s just something I want personally. Also don’t think anyone’s gonna die. Dr. Strange gonna revive everyone after he beats Thanos and gets the stone back.

I think after Avengers 4 we'll be done seeing Iron Man, Captain America, Hawkeye and others. I think a couple of deaths could happen.

A bunch of minor characters
Loki
Tony Stark
Steve Rogers
Drax
Hawkeye

I'm thinking that Iron Man and Captain America will die, or if not, take a major backseat. We already have Warmachine and Winter Soldier too. Drax's whole thing is killing Thanos and he is dumb as hell, can see him dying. Loki also, he kinda shackles Thor and the avengers by always being there to *bleep* it up. There is no Asgard, he has no place on earth, maybe he sets off to Sakaar like they talked about, or he dies. Hawkeye is long overdue for a death,, he is done if he joins the fight imo.

Pros: Fantastic 4, Doom, Galactus, Silver Surfer, Kang, Deadpool, X-Men etc all under MCU

Cons: RIP rated r movies+monopolies are bad.

Biggest pro: getting the original Star Wars rights and being able to release the OG cut on Blu-ray.

Still don’t see how X-men fit into Marvel’s universe at all.

Fantastic Four would be great though.

I don't see them belonging in any version. They've always felt seperate to me, even in the comics. Their based so much around people hating them because of them being different. Wouldn't make sense to hate them, but love Captain America etc imo.

And how interesting would the X-Men be without that storyline?

Yep exactly.

I do want to see Avengers Vs X-Men but they will make that PG 13 with dance offs probably. House of M would be great as well.

Mutation, persecution, politics, time travel, evolution/extinction... mcu ain't gonna deal that.

At least the core x-men definitely don't belong. I doubt that they will jump to do that. Fantastic 4 seem perfect though. I can also imagine them using certain x-men characters that fit for serious appearances (quicksilver) or cameos (deadpool).

I just want a current time young X-Men team lead by Cyclops. It's about time. And no Wolverine.
Have them in a seperate universe from MCU, and then use Wolverine and Deadpool for crossovers if needed.

Isn't that basically the new movie coming out? (Haven't watched apocalypse) wolverine is out, they are young and Cyclops is in it.

I really need to watch apocalypse, even if it's not as good. X-men>MCU or dceu for me. First class, dofp and Logan were incredible (last 3 I watched)

Thankfully it seems like Shazam is still moving forward without any setbacks.

They just cast Jack Grazer as Freddy Freeman. Billy’s best friend.

Incredible actor that guy. He was my first choice for Billy. Had one of my favourite performances of this year in It

Time Warner is cleaning house at WB's DC department. They're furious with the handling at DCEU and will now find a competent head to lead those films.

Shazam, Aquaman and WW 2 are happening. Matt Reeves' Batman also happening without Batman. Reeves doesn't want him.

Woody Harrelson rumoured for the Venom movie - obviously to play Carnage

honestly not sure I've been this hyped for a comicbook related movie ever before

Tom Hardy and Woody? sounds GOAT. Hope it's incredibly dark and brutal.

I highly doubt he will play carnage. Too old for it. Doesn't fit the style either.

u w0t m8, seen Harrelson in plenty of things, he's really diverse and seen him in a few roles that make me think he would be perfect, most of the rumours have him pegged as Carnage too, I don't think he's too old, I recall Carnage looking like he was in his late 40s or early 40s

Disney purchased Fox's x-men right (and everything related like fantastic 4) for over 50 billion. They released a teaser trailer for the announcement. I'm not pro this idea but that teaser with the old cartoon music and the yellow wolverine uniform got me HYPED.

It seems like x-men Fox people will remain, they are just part of disney now.

Also, Deadpool 2 has a title, Deadpool: The Second Coming. They confirmed deadpool stays R-rated.

Sounds like Matthew Vaughn is doing the next Superman film with Mark Millar as a consultant.

If he nails the tone he did with Stardust I think it's the perfect Superman tone tbh. Combined with First Class.

Too bad a lot of people think he's only Kingsman and Kickass now. Matthew Vaughn can basically do any tone and style in blockbusters.

Really hope this happens.

Here we go:

It looks like the solo “Black Widow” movie is finally happening with a new report indicating Jac Schaeffer (“TiMER,” “Nasty Women”) has been hired to pen the project for Marvel Studios. Variety cautions the standalone film is still in the very early stages of development and has yet to receive the green light.

However, Marvel’s Kevin Feige reportedly hand-picked Schaeffer after meeting with several candidates, and the studio has already discussed a potential solo outing with actress Scarlett Johansson who will reprise the titular role she’s played in multiple films now.

Marvel has yet to really unveil its Phase 4 slate which kicks off with a second “Spider-Man Homecoming” in July 2019 and a third “Guardians of the Galaxy” in early 2020. After that point, it’s not clear what will come next meaning the earliest potential for a “Black Widow” film would be late 2020.
